PEE ON YOUR PLANTS!! (no.. wait.. what?)

I remember Chong once telling Cheech (don't remember which movie) to piss on his plants! That it would help increase growth (or some crap like that. lol). I also remembering trying it! Ha Ha! Can you say epic FAIL? Now i'm not sure if it actually works or not (I know your sitting there saying "Hey.. What the Puck? Didn't you say you tried it?!?") because.. when I TRIED pissing on one of my plants (I think I was 16 or 17) I also happened to be drunk off my ASS!!.. My plants died within a day or two and I was left standing there scratching my head like an idiot. But hey.. It may work yet (as long as your not pissing vodka)!! But i'm no longer willing to try it. lol. So I ask you this.. Have YOU tried it? Did it work? How did the plants react?

I haven't done it but i think your supposed to dilute so much to so much water.

Urine contains large quantities of nitrogen (mostly as urea), as well as significant quantities of dissolved phosphates and potassium, the main macronutrients required by plants. Diluted at least 8:1 with water it can be applied directly to soil as a fertilizer. Undiluted, it can chemically burn the roots of some plants, but it can be safely used as a source of complementary nitrogen in carbon rich compost.[20] Urine typically contains 70% of the nitrogen and more than half the phosphorus and potassium found in urban waste water flows, while making up less than 1% of the overall volume. Chickens pee and poo out of the same hole, which is the reason why their manure is nitrogen rich. Human manure (urine included) is something not to be discarded...it's all manure and nutrient rich.

If you go to southeast asia and take a drive or walk through the countryside you will notice a very rich stink in the air, what is it? Human waste in all the rice paddies and gardens. I don't use human waste in my grows but spending a year there traveling it sure works for them there again since people in the states and other developed countries don't use this their bodies don't have the anitbodies you need to deal with the bacteria in the waste.
Human urine can be used diluted at 10 parts plain water to 1 part urine for a mixture that won't kill your plants. Be careful though of salt build up in the soil if you do this regularly. There again just because you can doesn't mean you should. If you are broke and can't buy the nutes to grow good plants then IMHO you should find another hobby.

Dilute urine with 10 parts water and it is a good source of nitrogen, urine is free so why not use it for your plants for an extra bit of growth? ;-)

My family is from the islands and my mother used to tell me they had mango and sugar cane in the back yard. They used to pee in pots under the bed at night cause they didn't have indoor plumbing and in the mourning they pour it out at the base of the plants. I was like ewww! But she said that what they did and everyone used to always say her mangos and such were so sweet and soo good.lol All the old school island folk i know swear by it.

My mother told me a similar story but about pot and putting her period blood as a blood meal :spew:. She said people said the same about her buds :lol: bongsmilie

ok this is disgusting, and there are 3 other threads covering this topic. miracle grow is not organic and has no place in the organics forum. im closing this thread out of redundancy. you have 3 other many page long threads on the EXACT SAME TOPIC. before you post something, do a search and see if its already been posted.
