Well I used a 150 watt hps. I water every four days.. I grow in small closet with a fan and a bowl of water to try to keep the temp down but it may be heat related the closet is maybe 2 x 3. The light is about 18 inches from the top of the plant. the temp be around 80 to 85 at night and 70 to 75 at nightMy guess is a water or heat issue at first glance, could you give me some background on your plants?
What should the proper temp be? I water about every four days in the morning when the lights first come on. Should I invest in a oscillating fan? the bowl of water and fan sit next to the plant underneath the light... Its a small bowl though it can hold maybe a cup of water. That's pushing the high end range, you may want to consider a better option for ventilation. What's your watering schedual like. You mention a bowl of water but while water can be a heat sink, it can also be a source of reflection to somewhere that isn't a heat sink increasing temps.
the bowl of water wont nessecirally lower the temp it will however raise the humidity in your grow room ...also you may wanna bring you tepm down about 10 degrees 68 to 70 at night and maybe 70 to 75 during the day......hope it helpsWhat should the proper temp be? Also in regards to the flowering stage, when the lights are off how dark does it need to be? as long as the door is close is that ok? what if a little light seeps in from underneath the door?

yesterday I watered with a Foxfarm's Bush Doctor root drench... I dont know whats in it except it says 0.8-0.1-0.03 what does that mean lol? i used I didn't use any pureblend for flowering which as the potassium should i go ahead and water or wait until the soil drys back out? It's prolly nuke burn...try less plutonium. And add more potassium.
well i dont run the air during the day only at night but i dont think much of the cool air is getting in the closet because there is no vent and i keep the door closed... are u saying the blow the air directly on to the plants? is opening the a door a few times enough the replace the stagnant air or should i be doing more? I dont know much about Co2 filters is the something I can buy without a lot of gizmos and gadgets?actually, it would be great practice if you can get your room to drop 20 degrees from night to day. i found it to make the plant grow faster and larger buds than when i had the room around the same temps 24/7. if your not supplementing Co2 in your grow room than a recommended 15 degree difference from night to day would be suggested, make sure you have circulating fans on your plants i really think you will see more profound results. temps of 84 aren't bad for your plants, as long as the air isn't stagnant and good airflow is incorporated. the temps under my lights sometimes hit 95-100 degrees, i run Co2 and tons of circulating fans so it allows the plant to use the heat to its advantage by allowing more transpiration and Co2 absorption. hopes this helps
you will need to get some sort of ventilation system set up, you can do it for CHEAP just google search, which will get rid of your heat AND get rid of stagnant air. opening the door will be fine, but not hassle free nor will it give you great peace of mind. and yes you will need to have a oscillating fan blowing on them, i kept saying circulating fan, which is wrong. possibly make a hole in the ceiling of your room and put a fan in it blowing air up, this will help rid your troubles of heat if you are on a budget.well i dont run the air during the day only at night but i dont think much of the cool air is getting in the closet because there is no vent and i keep the door closed... are u saying the blow the air directly on to the plants? is opening the a door a few times enough the replace the stagnant air or should i be doing more?
