You can see why I wouldn't eat a dog for obvious reasons ^^;
Then there is religious taboo attached to eating certain meats. To me, dogs are the same as people- well, just a little bit above people.
Eat a dead dog? It'd just feel like defilement and desecration.
I don't think I could cope personally... I wouldn't say you're overreacting but it's up to you to gauge how important your relationship is here.

Kuroi- just to be clear this puts absolutely no strain on me and my amazing girls relationship. I love this girl to no end and I know she loves me the same. It's just this little situation that shocked me lol.

I know I'd probably consider dumping a chick if she ate dog on the regular... as a one off experience into eating cooked dog flesh I couldn't be too mad at her... especially with a few of the things that are on my eat before I die list...

Cause in western society Cows are livestock and not pets... has been that way for 1000/s of years... non stop... but dogs have been, companions, friends, tools for hunting game etc...
