usin the haf 912 series and the AMD G Series Mother board.

Just a general question though before I continue: When connecting the front panel connectors, are the white cables negative (-) and the colored cables positive (+)?

Read your power supply manual.. different brands use different colors
here is the general rules for colors

ATX

SFX

yellow = +12v
red = +5v
orange = +3.3v
brown = +3.3v "sense"
black = ground
green = power on (+5v or ground, powered from +5v standby)
gray = power good (+5v or ground)
white = -5v
blue = -12v
