great post rkm, I'm glad you made it for the civilians, the true forgotten ones, much respect for typing it up.

rkm ...

Excellent post. :)

I believe the reason we don't hear about the civilians who died on 9-11, is that the main stream media would like us to forget them. Their focus is on the war in Iraq and how they can use the war against Bush. If you've noticed, we hear much less about the war in Iraq these days, and the reason is, things have improved immensely there over the past six months or so. God forbid that Bush gets any credit for it ... it just may screw up the chances of the Left taking over the White House.

any decision this goverment makes isn't worth
a velvet painting of a horse and a dolphin gettin' it on...
If they want to send lives somewhere for their battle, why don't they go it's their idea.

Very few of you all actually get it. I love every man and woman out there that is defending our country. It is needed and it must be done, it is a select few that actually step up to the plate to defend your ass, it takes a very special person to do that. Those people put their lives on the line doing mundane tasks that put their lives at risk everyday. For those of you that are bitching and complaining about the state of affairs of the U.S.A., all I have to say is do your part to help keep us safe that are protecting you to protect us. We put our lives on the line for YOU!!!! Stand up and tell the government that you are not going to take it anymore. It is YOU that put these fuckers in office that put our firefighters, policemen and soldiers at risk to begin with. We do not bitch, we just do our jobs, we do not care, we are there to protect YOU!!! Quit bitching and put the appropriate people in office so that we all can live together in peace, our planet is actually pretty small, we should all work together. Just grab your balls and say we are not going to take it anymore. Come on people, what would elections be like if no one or even the majority did not vote for the mainstream candidates. These people in office are there because WE put them there, its our fault for the state of affairs. Want to change it? Then quit going with "public" opinion and go with your gut, lets get back to the basics of why this country was formed to begin with. Lets focus on the original Bill Of Rights and tell our representatives that this is what we want. I am leaning towards Obama, but he is a piece of shit too. Lets get some people in there that actually care about you and me.

while everybody here seems to rep for one side or another, I cannot, all of you arguing about liberal democrats, and capitalistic republicans, are all deviating from the real issue, and it's not whether or not the war is right cuz what's done is done we cant go back and change it, by engaging in Iraq we were not protecting ourselves, the backdoor draft of National Guard soldiers took 5 of my friends to the last place they'd ever see, My friends mother read me a letter from one of them that died-he said himself that things were getting worse for the civilians, so no, there are not thigns improving for anyone, least of all civis. The letter also outlined his anger about being a member of the **NATIONAL** Guard, he signed up before 9/11 believing He would be on the homefront, helping his fellow American, not fighting across the world in a desert, for another country he hardly even knew about. All said in done, in the end he knew the risks, the others did too. As of right now I have friends in both Iraq and Afghanistan, I respect them for putting their lives on the line, I don't blame a single soldier for being there, because in the end it's orders that send them not gunslinging ideas of being a hero, nobody wants to die there, not the americans, not the english not the rest of the coalition-and most definitely not the civilians.

bickering is stupid, the ignorance just climbs with each exchange, I've seen war, been directly affected by war, and watched people die in war, it is not nice. I'm not a soldier, I'm not a police or emergency worker I'm an American, I'm an Arab, and I'm human, nobody should be dying in these ways, support our troops because it's not their fault, support them and welcome them home, if you pray then pray, for those who didn't get to come home, for the safety of those who are waiting to come home, and always acknowledge that a soldier is the hardest job for anyone, on every side of the conflict, my heart goes out to all the people feeling the effects of these terrible times, and again quoting rkm...

Weed was made illegal because of the Mexicans coming into Texas? Ok fine, but why did the rest of the world make it illegal because of the US's racism of the Mexicans, thats not right at all.

I feel ya brother. Lets all just smoke a J and be happy. The Muslims, Islamics, Americans and whatever religion, the religion or beliefs just want to kill other people just to get their point across. It just is not working anymore. War has always been here and it will never go away, sounds very familiar about the war on drugs. We as the public MUST stop corporate America and get back on the right track. Get America on the right track again, and the rest of the world will follow. Nevertheless, get anyone on the right track and the rest of the world will follow regardless. However, the UN must be re-educated and if need be, dissolved. To many countries seem to think that the US has all the answers, we do not. We are clouded in our thinking. The rest of the world needs to ignore us and do their own thing.

Im sorry to inform you but no country would ever follow any policy we made...ever.....Because they dont work....Period...They would rather fight us then agree and they should because it isnt ower say.....We are at war with people getting revenge it has nothing to do with religion.....It has to do with a bomb that happend to hit an apartment building that this guys familly was in.....And now hes pissed....Chain effect that will never end until the killing ends....

I dont care if you believe in a god or not, it does not matter. The fact remains that war is unacceptable and it gets passed off as necessity. Regardless of your religion killing other human beings is wrong. As far as I am concerned, I dont care if you are white, black, yellow, blue, green or purple you are a human, having names for certain races is wrong!!! It all boils down to one thing that religion gets in the way of. We are all people and we are all humans, who cares where you come from or what color you are.

Good point, but........
Why did the rest of the world follow the US in making our beloved weed illegal. The US said it was a terrible thing and the rest of the world followed.

Direct costs: $750bn
Future direct costs: $500bn
Cost of US casualties: $600bn
Losses to economy: $400bn
Added interest: $600bn
Macro-economic impact: $1-$2 trillion

its all right there.
damn see this all for what it is. this is a war machine. this war generates money. many people are makeing money off this war. many countries are making money. ok so what there was 400bn losses to the economy, and 600bn in casualties. (how do you put $ on a casualties) a few select companys and their fat cats made $750bn and are projected to make another $500bn.

yes the soldiers and their famlies are who suffer, but hell this country been throught that before. thats the reason we been telling these kids since 1st grade that being a soldier and to fight for you country is the upmost respectfull thing you could do for your country. even if your counrty asks you to risk your life or even die. it would be a honor. (right?) or we trick the smart ones. we lure them in with "we will pay for your college, or will give you the job of a life time." then to top it off when they do go over there and start to think "what the hell did i get my self into, i just wanted to go to college" we tell them "we suport you" i will even put a bumper sticker on my car. fuck if you suported them you bring them home. put them back in school. put them back to work here. put them on our borders to protect our counrty. turn them guns around and point them at the big bussness trying to leave this country with our jobs. or you could just put a bumper sticker on your car and pray.

then again what do i know i am just a sheep like the rest of us. BAAAAAA

it was worth getting those fucking WMD's out of Saddam's hands, and putting tha mofucka outta business, by killing him. So yes, weapons gone, dictator dead, prevented Iraq from becoming a terrorist breeding ground, I'd say fuckin definitely worth it.

Id say if they had weapons of mass distruction they prolly wouldnt have used crashing air planes as their first plan of attack.......I mean call me crazy but if I had 2 nukes in my back yard american airlines would be the last plan of attack......

Cant forget they wouldnt be making home made bombs if they had all these "stock piles" of bombs........Dont beleive everything the media tells you its what they want....
