I had six seeds that were able to float when placed into a cup half full of water. That indicated that the seeds were OK. Not only were they okay, they were in amazingly perfect condition and untouched by human hands! They were the cleanest, most toned, seeds I have ever came across.
They were left in the cup of water for a few days (over 48 HRS.). The seed sunk, but never cracked and/or sprouted a white, crystalized root.
I wasn't going to leave the seeds in the water any longer, because I was way too eager to test them out. They were still as hard as a rock, yet not just as hard as any pebble, but a stone. I cracked the seeds open, finally, and the insides were wet, but not mushy.
What happened?
