:cuss:Las year at this time I spent like $700 on this thing, it's only 10 years old!...I had a MM friendly guy fix it because the furnace is in the grow room,or vise versa, whatever, I'm fucked...I cant find his number, he just scribbled me a recipt on regular paper( no letter head) with his sig, which I can't read, his number was on another piece of paper...lol...and it's like 32 outside.Fuck me, just another hole in my sinking ship of life.
dont think about it like that bro. its fucken cold in here also . i just choose not to turn the heat on. im suffering with you... untill i get a giant role of plastic rap and a space heater. ill bring some over and we'll seal your windows and listen to music.

i'm with you. i'll sit in here and freeze until i'm afraid i won't wake up, then i'll turn that shit on low. i have a ventless gas heater and i only lit the pilot because it snowed. that shit is basically off. fuck you, nstar.

...I'm with ya, it's the ol' lady that can't handle the cold...I worked outside construction in Michigan my whole life...standing by a fire drum is fine for me...if the furnace did break and it was just me, I'd go outside and build a fire and sleep in my tent. I grew up with a step dad that would cut my hand off if I touched the thermostat!...that shit stayed on 64 all winter...but we hung out by the fireplace and had those nice safe Kerosen space heaters everywhere...lol...next spring the fireplace goes in. I'm making it wood burning, but I'm installing the pipe to covert to gas if I ever have to, that way it will be there and I can just connect up if needed. I can't wait, I haven't layed a brick in over 6 years!....fuck me, I used to lay 800 to 1000 a day. I miss work , but I stay busy with this house and my grow.:eyesmoke:

rowlman isn't really with you guys he just doesn't no where the 'on' switch is
That sounds like a fun build pal. I'd love to do that, watched my pop build/install a wood combustion he took out a wall and bricked it to absorb the radiant heat, it's still burning large every winter
peace

i'm with you, rowlman. i have a gas furnace that is on the fritz.

was able to manually ignite the pilot at the start of the season, now that doesn't work. we leave it on and it comes on every other day or so, but it just burns hot as hell and the entire house is toasty within 10 minutes and we have to turn it off.

worst part is that the furnace is out in the garage with my grow and i rent. so i'm kind of in a tough spot. not to mention the furnace keeps the garage just a little bit warmer for the plants. even with the lights on and doors shut, i'm only hitting 65 right now.

Last year I had to find a 'grow friendly' electrician , I'm in a leagal state, but I still don't trust any of these laws. Hope ya get it fixed...if you have grow shops in your area, ask about an elec. that is cool.Good Luck

i just tapped some of the connections with a wrench and it turned on.

now we'll see if it does the "make the house an blazing inferno" thing again.

and yeah, i had to bring in an OMMP friendly electrician last year to get the garage wired up to grow. best investment i ever made :eyesmoke:

the valvey-

lookin thing on the gas stove is just a carburetor. with a low voltage solenoid controlled valve.

tap the carb with a wrench or handle, not the elect. connections.

bad thermostat wire.
