Wanna try SCROG but lost

Hello, After alot of reading and dumb youtube vids my basic scrog question was not answered. I have 2 rooms, veg/bloom. Can I still do a scrog? I was thinking (since height is my prob) veging under 4' fluros then switching to bloom, 600 hps. If I can, after moving to bloom do I need to veg under hps for a while under 18/6?

Thanks

Sure but it would be easier to move the lights than trying to move a plant thats growing in a screen unless the screen is part of the pot.

yeah if you attach the screen to the pot then it would be easy to move them other wise why not have two grow? after one if done vegging veg the other will the first is done flowering

if your plants are about a foot tall then that is the best time to scrog them. you have to do it in its vegitative groth phase you can do it by topping or fim. pretty much you have a 1" holed net or wire that goes over the plants and you train the plant to grow thourgh the net and you force it to weave in and out of it. and no you dont have to veg under hps once you switched rooms.

Yeah it will work. A lot of scrog growers dont put them under the screen until they flip to 12/12 when the stretch starts. That way, if you have some idea of how much the strain grows during stretch, you can arrange the branches accordingly.

PS. I used to scrog with mini screens, one per plant but I found it to be too much work and the whole setup is not very flexible once the plants are attached to the screen. My 600W can easily produce more dope than I need and I rarely run my cab at full capacity.

1" screen is pretty small - most good Scroggers I know use a minimum of 2" to make it easier pushing tops through with out damaging them.
Also, you don't "weave in and out of the screen". During the training phase you continually push the tops down under the screen forcing the plant to grow laterally which takes the top to the next hole.

yeah if you attach the screen to the pot
This seems to be pretty effective for some. Here, check out this thread for a bit of advanced SCROG info.
