Hey whats up everyone!? So last night I got a ton of stuff done. I mounted the charcoal filter, assembled the hood, ran the wires for my ballast, and finally hung that big bad hood up in there! Haha!! I put a bulb in and turned it on for a couple seconds just to take a picture to share :) Hope you guys enjoy, MY actual bulb I ordered and the seed starting kit arrived today so I will be germing;

-G13 Labs Purple Haze
-G13 Labs Pineapple Express
-G13 Labs Blueberry Gum
-Female Seeds Purple Power
-Reserva Privada Cole Train
-Reserva Privada OG Kush The #18

Those are the six I have chosen! Happy medicating all!
Tasty shit there.

So I have just a quick question, right now I have my ballast outside of the tent on the carpet and the fan seems like it works really well.. BUT should I put it on a hard metal surface to prevent it from overheating?

From working with car sub amps. You want airflow underneath. I woulds mount it with rubber spacers inder to keep it cool.

Yeah thats what I was thinking! I wouldn't leave my laptop on carpet so why leave my ballast there, that was my thought process haha

Mine are mounted outside my room hanging on a wall. I try to put everything out of the room so all I have in there are plants, lights, and fans..

Mine are mounted high on the wall to get some air on them & any heat will be towards the top of the room & dissipate quickly.
