. Read a book.
Turn off the T.V. and read some books or at least read some stuff on line. Learn some history, read some non fiction.
Then post here to let us know about what you've read

I learned on NOVA that there were warm blooded dinosaurs. They found dino bones in a region that's been cold since the dino age. I also learned that dinos weren't related to reptiles, but birds. Another thing I learned is that if you google dinosaurs evolving into birds, or dinosaurs are birds, you get a gang of christian sites pretending to be scientific sites, luring people in then gives the bible's opinion.

i have to admit, i lived with a few friends for about a year, and we had no tv... i was reading about a book a day as their was nothing else to really do other then sit around and watch them jam out with the band for the umteenth time.. was reading all kinds of shit, mostly beat writers and shit....
ever since i moved into my own pad and now have a tv, i haven't picked up a book in a minute... tv really is the worst for sucking the brain dry, and it's not like there's really anything on good 90% of the time honestly..
but i mostly have to tv on for background noise, at least when i'm online.. need to start turning the tv off...

I haven't had any kind of cable or direct tv in almost 2 years. I use the internet to selectively watch a few shows. I dont miss sitting in front of the tv watching anything just because its on. I only watch maybe 6 hours of programs a week if that.

I haven't read in awhile but now that winter is upon us I have picked up a few books including one on shrooms.

I learned that there are indigenous shrooms in the North eastern United States.
