RIU, In a few days I am going to start my grow. Just a mini SOG setup. A buddy of mine is getting me a couple clones which I will then flower them once they have a decent root system. I am doing this setup do to height limits and for the fact that I just want to. I realize my yield will be decreased.

Lights: 4-23wCFL's(2700k) & 2-23wCFL's(6500k)
Soil: FFOF x Perlite (1/4 Perlite / 3/4 FFOF)
Nutrients: Either FloraNova Bloom or Fox Farm Tiger and Big Bloom
Intake/Exhaust: 2 PC fans (1 for each)
Pic of Cab

Inside of Cab will be covered with mylar.

Questions?

- When should i start feeding nutes? (maybe 1/4 strength 2 weeks in?)

- Ph should be? (6.5?)

- Is Molasses worth using?

ANY Feedback is Appreciated!

+Rep to those who are helpful!
Thanks in advance!

First, let me critique you on your set-up.

Lights: That light set-up will work. For better growth I would say get more 6500k CFL's in there for vegatative, and more 2700k CFL's for flowering.
Soil: FFOF is an excellent choice for a soil, it works great. You don't even need the extra perlite. FFOF comes perfectly ready for you to grow your plant! The perlite shouldn't do anything bad, though.
Nutrients: I would say just go with the FF nutrients, they are what I use and they work great. The nutrients you will want from FF are Grow Big (6-4-4) and Tiger Bloom (2-8-4)
Intake/Exhaust: I also use 2 PC fans for my intake/exhaust. They work good. The only problem with them is that I almost need to replace mine already! (It's only been about a year since I installed them).

Honestly, you don't really need Mylar to have a successful op. I just use flat white paper and it works good. Mylar is obviously a better choice, but it takes a lot of fussing to get it all on the wall perfectly.

And now, answering your questions.

When should i start feeding nutrients?
You should start feeding nutrients after the first spiked leaf set shows. This is usually about 1 1/2 week after sprout. What I did for my female is, wait until a deficiency showed, then feed her. This could have been a bad idea, but she has grown wonderfully since and is still thriving.

What should my PH be? (6.5)?
Yes, Cannabis loves a PH of 6.5 for soil and that should be good for you. As long as you use water that has that PH, you shouldn't have any problems with PH. I use bottled purified water and have had no problems with PH at all.

Is Molasses worth using?
Considering your set-up, I don't think you should need Molasses. Our set-up's are relatively the same and I don't use molasses. Just plain FFOF soil with FF nutrients, a great combo.

Thanks for the response.

All of your answers were what I was looking for.
