1 week and 2 days. need your advice...

Hi peeps, this is my 9 day old mj plant. I had to re soil her because the stem was way to thin to support her as she would get older. I dug a deeper hole so that the stem goes down deeper in the soil. What do you guys think about this??

Also, take a look at the 2nd set of leafs... Do they look normal to you? I think the plant as a whole is having a few issues because all the leafs seem to be reaching upwards and curling inwards.

The stem grew lanky probably because its light was too far away, stretching toward it. The leaves might be curling up like that because its got too much heat, or soil is a little hot, heavy on nutes. Dont give it any ferts right now, put a fan on it too. What kind of light are you using ?

whats the temperature like where the plants are? Heat will stunt growth, and make the edges curl.

Not even, I watered her quite abit when I have her some nutes when I wasn't suppose to. And yesterday when I re potted. That's it. I gave 250ml water in a 6 litre pot so not that much.

Nope. Biobizz light mix soil. Maybe the strain is depressed?? LOL

Do you have a clone propagator by any chance? Maybe you coul put it under a dome for a week or 2 to see if that helps. I get curling leaves from low humidity sometimes. Or you could mist it during the dark cycles.

No they straight from seed. I'm gona let her dry out and see what happens. Temp is at 70-75f, humidity is at 55-63

You can put seedlings under a dome too. I have done it a bunch of times when I figure it's too dry. But maybe you could mist them unless you're doing 24/0 then if you do it might be worse.

do u use tap water? and if so do u let it sit out 24 hrs?

wait till u can stick finger in pot a inch or more and soil is dry or learn to judge by wet and dry weight
i can tell if mine need water just by picking it up
then water they dont do good with constant moisture except in hydro lol
