Does everybody who smoke weed, smoke cigarettes too?

man, i've only read one post from somebody talking about rolling cigs. In my opinion that's the only way to go. If i smoke a filtered cig (camels, marlboro, etc) my lungs hurt, my mouth drys out, it's terrible. but some good dutch RYO, and i don't experience any of those. I start the day off with a Hippie Speedball (coffee and pot) plus cigs, cant be a better way to wake up... oh and some classic rock on the record player spinning. one thing i don't understand is how Frenchman smoke way more cigs than americans, but yet their average life span is +5 yrs longer than the average american... hmmm maybe they're putting something else in the tobacco. Frankly anything will give you cancer these days, my grandma was diagnosed with emphysema and she's never smoked in her life. also the more you eat hot dogs the more chance you have of getting Colon Cancer.

I like to think of cancer and cigarettes being related but not in the way that most people do, most people think that smoking cigarettes increases your likelihood of getting certain cancers but I like to think that people that are genetically predisposed to certain cancers just happen to be more likely to enjoy a smoke...

ill have to disagree. My grandmother had to get her toungue cut out, then ended up dying because she got throat cancer from smoking.
there is a direct corralation, people who smoke cigarettes even without a family history of cancer develop cancer after a life time of smoking.

I dont know if that statistic is right about the lifespans. but if it is probably due to the French having a different diet, and most people averaging a glass of red wine a day. Also in America for instance people who live in NewYorkCity live a few years longer then everywhere else. and that one is probably due to noone driving anywhere so overall health is better, etc...

Also its not Hot Dogs that raise your risk of getting Colon Cancer, Hot dogs are fine in Moderation.. Its all Salted And cured Meats..

Cigarettes are plain nasty!!! (Over 200 added chemicals) .. If I don't have a Bong handy I'll use bare minimal 'American - Spirit' in a Bud heavy mix and use either OCB skins or my preferred un-bleached RAW skins.. and back-flip them for minimal paper.. I like to keep things as healthy, natural and clean as possible :) and hope soon to start using a Vapour method .. I mean why make super bud if your going to ruin it with shitty tobacco lol :)

I mean when I was a kid and still in school and knew no better.. I would be pretty unhealthy and smoke Super King Black with Poo-Bar (worst kinda Hash.. with added plastic,oil, and other crap) .. but as soon as I became educated, I excelled to bud and dropped Cigarettes like a heavy turd :) lol

If I am really drunk sometimes I end up smoking a Cigarette, but usually flick it away before its half smoked and to be honest would prefer if I had never smoked cigarettes at all.. Infact:

With given evidence that Cigarettes are made up from a shit-load of dangerous chemicals including Benzine, Cyanide etc... It amazes me how Cigarettes are not illegal, and pisses me off that natural Cannabis (Bud) is illegal almost everywhere !!

I am sure if the tables were turned the Gov. could still rake in huge amounts of income through tax etc on Cannabis opposed to shitty Tobacco! and I am certainly sure if Tobacco became illegal there would still be an availability of it through the *black market (*under-ground market).. so dealers would still be making their money, and Tobacco smoker's who already pay through the arse for a pack of 20 would still be happy to hand over an insane ammount of money so long as they got their chemical & Nicotine fix! If the tables were turned I believe 'the people' would all be alot happier not to mention healthier - to a degree..

I mean Amsterdam's done alright for a good number of years.. Its a shame when stupid rules/laws intervene it should be based on public vote on where and when Cannabis can be smoked/used...

Where as the use of Cannabis has not once directly been the result for killing anyone... where as Tobacco has tens of millions of victims!!


Still its fucked up that the Gov. is more interested in making money than caring for its countries people and their health..

No offense intended Urca but just because somebody smokes for a life time does not guarantee that they get cancer and just because you have a family member that was a lifetime smoker that got cancer does not mean that smoking was definitely the cause the doctors only make a best guess as to what causes most of these cancers...

P.s. Sucks about your grandmother cause that is a horrible way to go...

And if you think about the colour of the butt and how gunked up with tar etc it becomes... thats from just one smoke.. if you have a habit of upto 50 smokes per day or for some people even more.. you will only live once! ..........But not for long, and you'll smell bad too lol :) - STELTHY :leaf:

So all in all, American-Spirit would defo be a healthier option :) But now I am trying to figure out how to 'Ice-Cool' - Vape! and am also think of making potent foods & tinctures and doing away with smoking altogether! :) - STELTHY :leaf:

there is a black market for cigarettes here, they come from the native reserves, they're home grown home rolled no name cigarettes. They come in white and blue as they call them. My ex used to buy a pack of 200 for $50 and then sell them out of her house for a few dollars a piece. It was kinda crack headish lol but she ended up dropping the cigs for selling my weed

edit: blackmarket tobacco dealers like this get harsher penalties than pot dealers, because the government doesn't get tax money on them

How and why is there that many chemicals in a cigarette ? whats wrong with just plain old tobacco ?

I never have and never will smoke ciggies , and i have tried but never will be a pot smoker.

I dont judge stoners tho , i can be a lazy bastard that gets nothing done while being completely straight lol .

The chemicals add taste and make it more smooth. Plain tobacco is pretty harsh and nasty tasting. Like I said, my ex used to deal black market cigs, they're nasty and harsh but REALLY cheap

I smoked for many years. I promised myself and my wife that I'd quit before our first child was born. I used welbuten (sp?), quit, and have never looked back.

It smells so bad, and so does everyone who does. It makes me sick just to smell the smoke, and I hate smelling it on peoples cloths and breath.

Smokers stink.....sorry but it's true.

HELL NO!! I avoid tobacco at all costs! No blunts! No "tobacco" papers. Rice paper or pure hemp papers only!! Glass pieces only!! Tobacco free is the way to be!!! I smoked cigs for all of my teenage years, wised up and went to all ganja.
