Veg for a week or two or just 12/12 from seed?

No I never fully grew plant from 12/12 but i just started an auto on that schedule.
My original statement was why jump right into 12/12 when u can veg first and increse yeild. I said it was a waste of time and cash and del said" mate 2-4 1/2 oz dry per plant aint wasting your cash". so that being said I assumed 1/2 oz dry is good for a 12/12 cycle, not to mension the ppl comenting his plants.
Soooo jimmygreenfingers, how much do yu yeild on a 12/12?

Average 2 best 3oz and ive never copied del as far as i know. We discuss strains but we grow our own thing.

so was it autos you grew from 12/12 or full plants. also how much weeks of vegg did you hit before preflowers started to show on 12/12. ALSO lol what lights were you using.
That is a pretty decent yeild coincidering there was no veg time. I might give it a shot next round

I dont bother with autos these are just fem beans i use. Pistillate preflowers vary depending on strain normally around 3/4 weeks into 12/12 some quicker. I have several different cabs all HPS some 400 some 600w. Yield is down to strain mate, ive only ever had the odd freak that didnt produce much more than 1/2 oz but most strains ive done have given me pretty good returns. I like to packem in and do a sog type grow. If you have a spare bean chuck it into your flowering room and see what it does.

Average about 11/12 weeks from germ to harvest but some can be a bit quicker. Ive had good results with rocklock from dna and also skunk#1 from sensi, blue mystic from nivarna. Thc bomb and big bomb are good ones but im yet to grow these out, ive got them ear marked for my next run. For me its all about doing as many strains as i can, i like a different smoke rather than smoking the same strain over and over again (although if lemon skunk from dna turns out to be a good 12/12er then ill grow shitloads of that girl) and 12/12 from seed allows me to do this as they are small compact plants. I know what you mean about lack of space even with smaller plants you always want more on the go

HAHA sweet I was recently thinking about growing blue mistic,the only thing stopping me is im growing mataro blue right now and it would be simular i assume because the blue in their genes. I agree with you on switching up different strains every grow. after a week im sick of the same smoke never mind forever lol. well i wish you luck on your next grow with THC bomb and big bomb if you end up doing them. thx for your input on the 12/12 grow, im def going to give it a try.
