Are they making mj completely illegal? As in for all growers who are already legal to grow and are card holders? or are they just shutting down all the dispensarys? And are they not issuing the medical mj cards anymore. Im not from there or reside there just trying to understand whats happening.

I don't think that is the full picture - they raided 16 dispensaries, but they have also sent hundreds of letters to the landlords of almost every collective and dispensary stating that they have X numder of days to shut down or suffer forfeiture of their property and criminal prosecution. The IRS has now ruled that businesses cannot deduct expenses for an enterprise that 'traffics in illegal substances.' so, even if they are not raided or forced to shut down, they will be taxed into non-existance under this current system. The feds are even threatening radio, television and newspapers who have advertised for clubs and cracking down on banks who have dealt with the clubs.

Looks like things aren't looking so hot for cali. It makes sense though cause a lot of MJ gets out of state. Even from clubs and legal growers.
They're trying to scare the clubs to closing is what I believe. Few have shut down in the central valley where I'm at, but a friend who owns one of the clubs stopped by last week and said he didn't get a letter though the clubs around him did. Not sure what's up with that. Margaret mims has been shutting down and regulating the central valley for years now..one club got busted with half a million in cash, dozens of guns, and a bunch of other BS.
