Yeah I plan on tying the branches down and out a little to encourage them to grow out so its not too much stress when they hit the screen, plus its great for exposing more light to all of the plant. I'm going to Fimm the kalashnikova not top it too to try and get 4 main branches.
I saw a vid of a guy who tops the new cola's again before he flowers them to split those off into more also, maybe worth a go.

Hate to stick my nose in but I'd try and have the humidity higher whilst their so young and small..

Yeah I know it needs to be a little higher, its been cold and rainy here so i've had the tent open a little with windows open to combat the heat from the MH, seemed to sort the humidity out nicely keeping it from 50%-60% during the day. It's got a little warmer so I may need to try a few trays of water to bring it up because the supersonic crystal storm has very slight cupping on the edges.
I'll see what I can sort when I get home today but if you have any advice on how to raise the RH easily in a tent I'd appreciate it.

I've used a few things ranging from watering cans and buckets of water placed in the grow to wet clothes... Not sure how much it helps..

I think the problem with pans and soaked towels etc is it will take too much time to raise the humidity as it takes time for the cold water to get into the air, true its quicker if you increase its surface area but I may try something else.
I might try a towel soaked in hot water, not boiling just hot enough to steam a little seing as how humidity is basically water vapor in the air. I think the temps will get a bit higher in the tent but that should be controlable but in my line of thinking the "steam" is putting humidity straight into your grow area.
hmmmmm think ill test this....what you think jay? sound workable??

No worries fella, got a 3% increase in RH using a steaming towel so you would prob need a fair few to get any decent increase n the temp increase could cripple some people im guessing.

Day 14 from seed
Just a quick update again.
Everything seems to be going well, both girls are getting bigger each day and both are starting there 3rd node, will be "FIMMING" both once the 4th node apears. The Kalashnikova has some slight nute burn, lol it because the AN stuff is so concentrated so I emptied about 8L of water out of the res and topped up with plain ph balanced water to see what happens.

Update again.
Well, after a pretty heavy night with some friends Im feeling pretty rough so a little mishap this morning tending to my ladies, I droped my temp/humidity meter in the bowl of water I had in the tent and now its gone to valhalla
Cant grab another one till next week now so they will just have to cope i guess.
Both ladies are doing good, the kalashnikova's nute burn looks a little worse after diluting the already weak nutes @1ml per litre by draining and adding 8L of plain water but the rest of her seems good apart from the humidity being low (was at like 39% this morning before I dropped the meter). The supersonic is looking really healthy and strong and liking the nute level so far.
I had a fair bit of growth so I "fimmed" both ladies today, in a few days we should have a four way branching from both hopefully if I have done it right, i cut about 80% of the 4th node off each. Will change the nutes over again tomorrow night so am putting the water for each bucket to de-chlorinate shortly and will count that as the start of week 1 veg.

Lol tell me about it but thats what happens when you mix blue widow and jack daniels methinks!!
I've raised both my buckets off the ground by putting them on plastic totes so I can empty the res as I have emtying tubes on both. I can either attach the lid of each bucket to the screen so i can simply drop the bucket off and change it over after cleaning or I have a funnel attached to some hose pipe that will let me refill easily. Which I do depends on how well the lid stays attached to the screen i guess.

Not sure of the temp or humidity until I order my new meter - will prob be getting an aircooled hood aswell in the next few weeks to help my environment out a little more.
