Male pods? Is this where the seed comes from? Someone please explain, BC I've been researching NONSTOP for 48 hrs, and am now more confused than ever! It shouldn't be this difficult for or me!...I have buds/white hairs on top, and the first three nodes or so from top are filled with these buggers. The bottom of the plant shows zero sex...just the long spikes. This plant is in week 2 of flower and is a good 4x4... my first grow, fem WW seeds from AMS...they suck.

...hermie plants showing male flowers are often called "nanners" because they look like bananas....can you see how these male flowers look like bananas in this image, they're circled.Marijuana-Sexing-Hermie-6.jpg

Damn bo, it looks like you're growing nothing but hermies, if not complete males. Can you take closer pictures of what you're calling buds please?
Just fyi, males grow pod looking clusters that release the pollen that females 'catch' to create seeds.

edit: after looking closer, it looks like you have all males there pal. sorry.

I guess this is what an epic fail feels like?...I am so disheartened right now...but BELIEVE me, when i say that my next grow ( seeds shipped today from nirvava!) Will be a spectacular grow, start to finish. I've already upgrsded a majority of my equipment and mediums, and even earned a free DWC from htg...just gotta find out how to use it appropriately...lol..-

straight up males get rid of them and start again i know it sucks but thats the price we pay sometimes

buy a fat sack and hit the books, confidence comes with knowledge. I can tell you right now u could use more light. i would suggest always double plant count when growing from seed(nonfem). Read read read! As long as each grow is more successful than the previous you're doing fine.

Leave the reverse shit out of the mix. It sounds like something to reverse a female into throwing pollen sacs for breeding purposes. Your best bet when you start over is not to throw every "snake oil" boosters you can find at it. Especially the first grow. Keep it simple, fertilize and harvest. Learn why you give them something before you do it. This is simple Botany and Biology. I'd go with soil before I tried anything as touchy as hydro or rockwool (Considered hydro).

I will start a journal or something when my new seeds arrive in 2-3 weeks...I'll do it right from the beginning....looking forward to it!

Next time start at least 2 plants so you have at least a 50/50 shot at getting a female too. In fact, I'd say start at least 4 if they're regular seeds, that way you're not putting all your eggs in one basket. Once you for sure get a female, you can take clones to fill in any space you lost to males.

Definatly something I live by...KISS...I kept it totally simple...mg soil, nothing but Ph water until flowering, then minimal FF nuts...I bought the reverse BC a) alot of hydro store owners here swear by it, and b) alot of people here at riu swear by it as well.--I'm going to go soil again...and will probably always do soil, but I for a free dwc, and may mess around with it lol...

I started with 4, but the crappy genetics or whatever from AMS left me with just the one viable seed....NEVER order from AMS...such crap for product...ugh.

Kiss it goodbye, sorry man. Had a Hollands Hope from a club that turned out to be male, i feel your pain. It was also my first grow and only plant. Lesson learned, dont put all your eggs in one basket!
