small amounts of every thing light & food mainly also bonsai the leaves...all the food is processed in the palasades lower the leaf count and the amount of food processed will dwindle in essence creating a smaller plant.

I have 3 mini plants in flower right now just as an experiment. I put clones straight into flower when they rooted. The tallest one is 14 inches right now. Just one big nug. One of them stopped growing for some reason and is just flowering and fatning up.

Just posted new pics of them in my grow thread. Links in the signature if u wanna see

Dizzlefrost: that's hilarious

When I started growing I bought a pc grow box. It came with everything (plug and play). Man was I excited when UPS dropped that off. Had 1 auto going in there. Had to lst the shit out of it. Harvested about 1/2 oz dry. Not bad for a first grow in a COMPUTER so I thought. This was in a 1 gal pot and from top of pot to top of canopy/buds was about 6 inches.

I'm not saying to go out and by one of those. You can make something similar for WAY cheaper and keep the plants small.

It turns out, a pc grow box is a gateway to bigger and better things.

Yes, you can use bagseed, BUT. . .

The cheap stuff is usually Mexican grown, and those plants are better for outdoor growing. . .they'll be relatively tall plants that take a long time to flower.

If you use a strain designed for growing indoors, specifically one bred to stay small yet give good yield, you'll probably have better results.

No, do NOT grow under a halogen light. Halogen lamps don't put out a good spectrum for growing plants.

The minimum light you could get away with is probably one 23 watt 2700K fluorescent bulb, but you'll have much better results if you use more light. Try multiple compact fluorescents, or alternatively larger ones (eg 45, 55 watts). Depending on your budget and what kind of space you're trying to fill, a small high-pressure sodium lamp (say 70 or 150 watts) will be more efficient, giving better yields for the same space/heat signature.

The main things to consider when growing small are:

a. What kind of SPACE do you have to fill. That's really the first and most important thing, because your growing space will dictate your pot size/shape, growing method, type of ideal plants, and necessary lights.
b. Budget (in order: Lights, timer, seeds, soil, cooling, odor control, nutrients). Budget does not have to be a lot *IF* you know what you're doing.

Make sure that whatever container/chamber you grow in, that its:

a. Light tight. . .leaking light out will give you away.
b. Ventilated appropriately. . .you'll need to cool hot lights, and ensure that your plants get fresh air.
c. Quiet (noisy fans aren't good), and
d. Odor-controlled. . .flowering plants can give off a heck of a scent, even really small ones.

Just use a adult sized solo cup, top it once at 4 inches and lst in a circle until u get a crown of heads. If u jus want 1 plant and dont wanna lst n shit just keep a FL tube light or sumthing similar an inch away from the growth at all times and flower early
