Hey growers! I'm on day 23 since she sprouted out of the soil. I wanted to get some experienced growers to tell me how she's lookin for her age. I got her in a 5 gallon pot with fox farm ocean forest soil. 2 5000k and 4 6500k cfls. Some white poster board as a little reflector which I don't think is working to well. A fan blowing directly at her 24/7. About 9 inches tall. Fed 10ml of botanicare pure blend pro grow veg form last Tuesday and she burnt a little bit, I think it was too early still so I watered twice since then with just water. I don't have a ph meter for water yet but my garbage soil ph tester is at 6.8
Temp is 80-85
Humidity is 60%

Temp isnt THAT bad.... 85-86 is optimal for Veg.... They look Great.... Make sure you top em before you flower them...

Should I top her now? Its just one plant I have for now and where exactly do I need to make the cut? And how long after should I wait to start flowering? Thanks a lot for the help! This site is amazing

You don't have to top your plant either though. It's all about how you choose to grow your plant. That thread will give you a lot of information and help you make a better decision. Good luck

Hey thanks man! I checked it out but I did get confused when it said to top above the first true node if I remember correctly ill have to look it over again. But if that's the case then did I let the whole plant grow for no reason or can I cut the top one of at the very top of the plant? She's got like 8 or 9 true nodes

you don't have to top that low. That guy suggests it based upon hormone distribution and early growth. i usually top 2 true nodes from the top. You can top today and flowering in the next week or two will be fine. Give them some time to develop but they will take kindly to it I'm sure.

Ok I decided im going to top this sunday. Then veg for either another week maybe even 2 before I flower. Unless its a better idea to top now? Will I benefit anything if I wait a few more days or should I just say fuck it and cut her head off tomorrow?
