Seeing as most of the people on here have lived longer than I, and have done more things with their lives then I, I figured it was a reasonable place to post this kind of dilemma.
I'm at a standpoint in my life. I've recently realized I am going nowhere as I am currently, and I need to find out what to do with my life. The military is in my thoughts, but the idea of shipping out and risking my life for something I may not be 100% behind scares me.
On the other hand, I have this lingering want to just get up and leave. I want to travel across the country, and find who I am. I need to know who I am, and where I am going in life before I can decide how to get there.
If anyone has done either, or has a recommendation on how to discover who you are that would be great.
I'm just wondering if anyone has done anything like this, or had these questions appear.
Also, recommendations on where to travel would be much appreciated, if you think thats the right choice.
