Day 15 flower. Looking for opinions?

This is my first grow, thus my first grow journal. I have learned a ton from reading these forums and I am very excited for my first harvest.

I vegged in Roots Organic soil for about 6 weeks (little long, but i have the space). I did nothing but ph the water to a 6.2 and addd Superthrive. They are vegged under two 6 lamp t-8's. I have been very impressed with the t-8's compared to the cost of t-5's, and the performance seems to be quite comparable. During veg I did lots of topping, FIMing and supercropping. The growth after a good supercropping is INCREDIBLE!!

These have now been in flower for about 2 1/2 weeks under a 1000w hps, and I think they are doing well. I have slowly started using AN Iguana Juice an have been happy with the performance.

There is one Whitepower, one SourD, and one Super Silver Haze. The beast is the Whitepower, the smallest is the SSilver (but it is one week behind the other two).


I am looking for any thoughts or ideas as far as my girls go. If nothing else, i guess I am just trying to put some bud porn out there.:hump:

switch from the t-8 to a HPS light! anywhere from 400watts to 1,000 watts. heat becomes a problem with these more powerful lights but the yield is way higher.

also you need more than super thrive in veg !! Try botanicare's "pro grow" vegitive fertilizier" its organic and works well, you should (stack) something with the pro grow. For instance , i use (pro grow, liquid karma, cal mag, and a little bit of budswel) just for veg . ! it looks like you have 5gal pots in there. thats not bad, if your vegging for soo long your going to need big pots ! the bigger the root the bigger the fruit ! Also look into "mykorrhiza" this is a beneficial fungus in the form of liquid or solid. it does wonders for developing a healthy root system !!

you need to get a nice root system and healthy thick stalk in veg.! in flower i could sit here for an hour and type but dont have time ! hope this helps . add "liquid karma" and "sweet" for flower for sure !!

Thx for the tips bud. I am taking all the info I can get! Thanksgiving this year is gonna be more than turkey and football!

Anyone used the premoistened cloning cubes, sponges, or whatever you want to call them? The dark brown ones that come in a ziploc style bag. Just curious, Ive used rockwool but thought these looked more beneficial and they are dark in color which should help.

I'm fairly new at this as well but, recently i've learned that if you chop out all the underbrush and even the small sraggy buds from under the canopy, you get them back on the colas ABOVE or near the canopy. Just a thought. I'm sure genetics play a roll too.
