Well, ordinarily we "Render therefore unto Caesar the things which are Caesar's; and unto God the things that are God's"

No. He has held public office for quite a while and his faith has never interfered with his duties as an elected official.

As long as he hasn't been excommunicated then yes, he is a true Mormon. I haven't heard that he has been censured or thrown out of the church.

So are you saying that he has rendered himself to Cesar? Or that as a holder of Office he should answer to Ceasar over God?
Can he make this call or seperation as a Mormon? Does duty of office trump God?
I believe the usuall interpertation of this is an justification for using money or paying taxes.
I don't think Romney is a strict Mormon so I don't think it would matter but i'm not sure he could be a very strict Mormon I haven't looked into it but I'm wondering what a strict Mormon would do in Office if religion would make decisions for him.

I'm saying that, like all of us, he abides by the constitution of the United States just like a member of the church in England would follow their laws. You're being too literal. ;)

I don't know what you mean by "strict" Mormon. He, like all presidents before him (if he is elected) is a Christian. The only thing that's different is he (most likely) won't be stocking up on liquor, cigarettes, tea or coffee in the White House. Other than that there really isn't a difference. Is Romney a member in good standing? I'm sure he is. I haven't heard anything different and trust me, it would be all over the church if he wasn't. There's a joke in Utah that makes me laugh every time I heard it. There are three forms of reliable communication in Utah. Telephone, Television, and tell-a-Mormon. We like to gossip.

Elder, but I haven't been to church in over a decade, and no longer consider myself Mormon. I consider myself to be agnostic now. The attitude of the church wanting to have their nose in every aspect of my life drove me away.

Some of your post is not true-
But if it's true that He would follow the Constitution and that he is a Christian- I would vote for him.

No, in your opinion you believe part of my post is not true. I'm pretty sure it's the Christian claim. Well, our church is called, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. Christ is the cornerstone and foundation of our church. If you choose not to believe that then it's your issue.

Regardless, I wouldn't vote for him. I don't like his platform.

It is the constitution claim and christian claim
I am questioning your claim of all the presidents have been Christian and that the constitution is adheared to
