My first time I smoked half a ziplock bag to myself, felt nothing noticeable, later that night I smoked a bowl of pot and it actually made me puke (it was one of the fattest hit's of my life by far). I then got a new catnip plant and I will say this time around I can definitly feel it. Might have something to do with the harvest time also (start of flowering) the leaves are at there most potent before all the energy goes into the buds.

Indeed. Ayahuasca has none, they use Chacruna (Psychotria viridis). Thats the only thing that contains DMT. The completed concoction is now known as Ayahuasca as well, for some reason.
But nowadays people dont really mess with the whole thing and extract from Jurema (Mimosa hostilis) like civilized human beings.
