Well I think its finally time to start a journal ladies and gents, i've had some great advice and have learnt lots here off so many of you RIU members maybe its time to give a little something back huh?
Right, I grow in DWC / bubble buckets and am just starting on my first ever scrog attempt so maybe you lot can come along for the ride huh? I love the idea of scrogging as I have limited space and have been struggling flowering 2 ladies in my tent due to high issues and light penetration - two things scrogging seriously deals with nicely
The setup I will be using is as follows;
Tent 90cm x 90 cm x 160 cm
300 watt equivalent Veg CFL for propagation
400 watt metal halide for veg
400 watt hps for flower
4" inline inlet
6" ruck extraction
Submersible Air Pumps (1 per bucket)
twin outlet air pump
6" Air Stones x 2 (1 per bucket)
AN Sensi Grow
AN Seni Bloom
AN Bud Candy
AN Big-Bud
Digital PH Meter
Green House Seeds kalashnikova (fem)
Sam Sara Seeds Supersonic Crystal Storm Auto (fem)
I know it will be hard to run both an auto-flowering and photoperiod flowering together due to the height differences but hey ill give it a go, I do have a fair few kalashnikova fem seeds but wanted to see what Scrogging could help me get from my autoflower. I'll be leaving the autoflower under a cfl, then MH for like 4 weeks before I flip the light schedule from 18/6 to 12/12 on a HPS for the kalashnikova.
I'm going to be raising my DWC buckets off the floor as they are the type that have drainage pipes built at the bottom - this should help me to change my res every week and allow me to flush when needed without having to move the set up once in the screen.
Pics will be updated regularily and I'll try to post each day on this all the way from the start to the filthy filthy bud porn at the end!!
