My little brothers are crazy shits. They will just run around, and go insane. Not even realizing that they are in a living room or car.
Sometimes you gotta snap kids back to reality and let them know they need to stay there for a minute.

It's also training your kid to be prepared when shit gets REAL.
With time outs you never learn that the people you love could be whoopin your ass if you don't do right. And that's a lesson kids need, they can't go through life thinking everything is lollipops and time outs. I mean give your kid a good time, when they're being good. But let them know what's up when you need to.

And I'm not talking bruises or bumps. Just spanking.

Same here, I remember just because I had a problem remembering the letter K in my early 3's my mom hauled off and slapped me across the face full force, sending me to the ground, and started screaming at me. Will grant I never forgot 'K' after that...

Another time I was 7 playing out in a field with my god brother, and we fell into a mud pit thinking it was solid ground, fucking shit came up to my upper waste, was lucky I was with my godbrother who was 4 years older then me and tall for his age, or I may have been fucked. Came in dripping of mud. My mom picked me up and started beating the shit out of me with a stick like a rug trying to beat the mud off me, no shit. my older godbrothers friend, who was 7 years older yelled at her, "WHAT THE HELL, HE'S NOT A RUG, PUT HIM DOWN!!!" I loved that boy from that day on. She was such in shock a teenager called her out and looked at her like she was fucking insane she put me down. But normally it was an extension cord or a belt, and she would just swing like a psycho path, head, arm, leg, back, I would block so she would just swing mad hitting me where she could.

That shit I'll say doesn't work at all, because it was a daily thing. So if you already know your going to get beat, you just kinda say 'fuckit'.
