Last minute light check

So I'm just about to buy some lights for my first grow and have decided on cfl. I'll be growing 3 white dwarf auto's in a 19sqft cabinet. I'm thinking I'm gonna get a 300w dual spectrum as a main centre light and 3 45w for a bit of extra side lighting.

Does that sound like it'll do the job? Also should I bother with a reflector hood for the big 300w when the cabinet is already mylar'd to to the max?

I'd really appreciate an informed opinion from you guys

I'm worried that my circulation may not quite be up to scratch to handle the heat from a HPS. As it's my first grow I'd feel more comfortable going down the cfl route (:

Well good luck to you. I use CFL's for vegetation and they work great. As far as using them to flower not so much, but hey, you might change things up later on down the road.

Maybe, maybe. This really is just a tester. I can always invest in something more hi tech later down the road.

Do think my choice of lights are packing enough wattage?

2 tell u the truth. U Don't need 19sq ft for the 3 plant. Rule of thumb u want to light ur plants not ur grow room. So even though its mylard to the max its still to big for what ur growing. The light is good for those type of plants. I wud use a reflected for that size room . If it was a little smaller. U wud not need 1. That my sentiment . Good luck!

Also if u can afford $120 u can get a 400watt hps on eBay. I got 3 1000 watt switchable ballast mh/hps lights includes. Also included reflectors and hanging kit. I paid $621 with free shipping.

The reason my cabinet is that size is because I'm using big pots from the start so I don't have to do any transplanting. I've allowed a fair bit of room for height growth too but the height of the main light will be adjustable anyway.

I'm on a bit of a budget. Will propably end up paying under £100 for all the lighting

Thanks for the replies guys. Much appreciated
