Pardon Jason Spyres (K99397), an Illinois inmate serving a 30 year ( now on 9th year) sentence on a marijuana charge.
I was the Officer working around Jason as a supervisor. I am now retired and feel it to be a moral imperative that this man (locked up on a first offense as a teenager) be set free. Nine years locked up more than meet the requirements of most any State. A similar offense in California would have netted a person less than a year. Jason has been the ideal inmate while I worked in the prison and I am confident he will make an excellent free citizen. It makes absolutely no sense to waste tax dollars on Jason's further incarceration.

Thats the information on the inmate who was sent to the pen as a teenager for a marijuana charge. He needs to be released. I couldn't imagine serving that many years in the pen for something as small as a possession charge. A first offense at that? Uh ah nope! Anyways that is why I posted this thread. I was going through the wwws.whitehouse.gov petition page looking at the petitions and I came across this one and I felt there wasn't enough signs on it. It needs to atleast get to 5 thousand for it to be looked at. No man should be in prison for a marijuana charge. Please don't look past this. Click on the petition page I provided and sign the petition. All it takes is one click. If you don't have an account then make one. You might as well anyways if you want to sign the end marijuana prohibition petition. I'm not a cop. lol That was the dude who wrote the petition. Have ya even heard of the petition page on the white house site? Well glad I can assist you to it. lol @ me being a cop. I couldn't take myself to putting people behind bars like they were animals. I would kill myself if I ever became like that.

Yah I take it you must be a legal smoker. Yeah .... I guess being legal and not having to worry about being put behind bars for smoking a joint must take all the worry away from you. Seems like it also turned you into a COMPLETE FUCKING PIECE OF SHIT!!!! lol

I was about to sign this petition even though you hadn't commented on the viedos I had posted or how you liked the music and the lyrics and how the songs made you feel. I was going to sign the petition because I wanted to help this guy VS the other things and people and causes I could dedicate my time to helping, but now you refere to me as "you people".
Now i'm not sure, I want you to listen to the mix tape i'm about to make for you and post, I want to see if you care enough to listen to all the songs and watch the videos in their entirety and take the time to have some thoughtful comments and words of encoragement or advice for these people, then I will think about helping your friend and telling others to do so depending on weather or not I am moved by your dedication to others...

I somewhat agree. In this case I did register with that legit government petition site to participate on other petitions. If one chooses to keep their voice silent, it will never be heard.
I am not worried. I have even written my senators and congressmen in my own name and have received responses from them on cannabis laws.

Yeah I signed the Free Marc Emery Petition as well. Marc Emery is a great person. Can't believe the USA went to Canada and got him.
