Man killed in sacramento for trying to rob plants. One up for us growers *woot woot*

NORTH SACRAMENTO, CA - An attempt to steal marijuana plants from a backyard garden early Thursday morning ended with the murder of the intruder, according to Sacramento police.
Vue Cheng, 29, was shot once and had trauma to his upper body consistent with blunt force, according to police, who received a call to the 600 block of Morey Avenue at 3:11 a.m.

I have a point I would like you to consider. Think that this ripper may have been armed himself. You never know. All you know is there is a potentialy dangerous criminal. I mean its easy to say just detain him but highly unrealist in real life. You think he's just gonna lay down when you catch him? I don't think so. At the point you don't act to protect yourself and your family, you are immediatly in potential harms way. I bet the guy didn't fell good shooting the ripper, but he did what he had to do.

If he was armed then the charge would be self-defense. Not murder. The homeowner is charged with murder. As he should be. And for the individuals who keep saying they are taking food out of people's mouths? You don't eat Cannabis. If he was selling weed then he was doing it illegally. How is this even an issue? A guy was murdered over a plant. End of story. It's funny how you people scream and howl about the unfair incarceration of people who are caught with Cannabis. You say it's silly to jail someone over a plant. Well, guess what hypocrites? It's the same damn thing. No one should have to die over a fucking plant.

I see what you are saying, but I think you missed my point. I understand the criminal was not armed and that's why its murder. You clearly haven't been in a situation even close to this. Would you stop to ask the guy if he has a gun? Let me answer for you, NO! Because you would already have been shot. I don't agree with killing people but in a situation like this, you know nothing. Its easy to say he shoulda done this or that after the fact, but in the heat of the moment, and the adrenaline pumping, you make an instictual reaction to protect yourself and property.

I never said it was ok to kill a man over a plant, so I do appreciate where your coming from and would typically agree killing is wrong. But you NEVER know what a criminal is going to do. Clearly he was unarmed but the home owner doesn't know that. I'm really just playing devils advocate. It pisses people off but I do feel I have a valid point as well as you.
