Bubble Hash Question

So i just order a set of 5 gallon 5 bag bubble hash kit off amazon for fifty dollars...


I have all of my cuttings in the freezer and i was just wondering if i am supposed to grind it all up before mixing it with ice and water or if i should just throw it in intact.

I watched a tutorial on bubble bags but they had started with ground up trimming not just leaves and small buds..

any input would be appreciated.

Not sure but it would seem like you'd be better off with it ground up.

you don't need to grind it...just don't put any big stems that could tear a bag...I just use trim off the buds, no fan leaves or stems...if you already have fan leaves mixed in , it will be okay, alot of people use them too

I always mix for 15 minutes and then let it set for 5 minutes between mixes ( x 3 )...then for 10 minutes before you start collecting trics.

Yea i'm really excited.. i've saved up my timming from about four harvests..

strains are all nirvana, power plant, ak, wonder woman and good old white widow.

i didnt put any stems in but theres definately some fan leave but o well.

i actually dont have a egg beater or anything to mix it up.. i was planning on doin it by hand but how could i use a my drill to mix?


ps i have so much trim that i will probably have to do it twice.. lol its enough trim to fill up a 5 gallon bucket solid... im so pumped for this hash ha

maybe more than twice!...they sell paint mixing paddles for hand drills, you can get a plastic one for like $4 at most hardware stores.

if you use a drill, start off kinda low speed at 1st, watch the paddles don't tangle your bags...after a few minutes you'll get the hang of it

mixing by hand with a big spoon will kill ya...I did it the 1st 2 times...lol...and any old drill will work....with that much trim,the drill is the way to go

Ya that is perfect ha im definately pickin up one of those by thurs. when i bubble it up.. i wasnt looking forward to spending hours stirring away...

As far as drying and curing.. my first three harvests i simply put th trim in the drying closet with the hanging bud and let it dry out but i heard that your supposed to put it in freezer so i have had it there ever since... my most recent crop trim has been in the freezer since the day of harvest.

If there is a better way to get it ready for bubble hash i would like to know lol i have been pretty much wingin it ha.


Also in the tutorial i watched he mixed it in the work bag (220 micron) inside a 5 gallon bucket.
then strained it all out into the 5 gal bucket.
then poured the strained green liquid into another 5 gallon bucket that had the other four bubble bags and allowed it to sift through each.

Is this how you go about it or do you do it differently?

Also just realised that u might be talking about curing the hash lol i dont know how to do that either.. i thought you just let it sit on card board and dry over night..
