Where I live, its starting to frost at night, but gets pretty warm during the day, I have four plants growing outside right now, there not that big yet, should I bring them inside i only have a 65 watt light for right now, but ill be getting a bigger one in a week or two, or should I just leave them outside until I get one? Its not freezing freezing just frosting.

Unless its below F40 then you will be ok, if it dips below that and the temps still raise in the day just cover them up

Anything below 60° will stunt your plants. You should consider bringing them in full time if they're not very far along as the growing season is ending very soon.

Coward, im way up north and my plants do fine at 60, ya it slows them down but not much as you are thinking

Our overnight lows are usually in the 50-60 degree range, totally normal and the plants do fine

I live in northern maine and theres frost on the ground. =s would 65watts cover the plants though, for a week or two?

some strains love the cold!! it may just turn purple on you, that about it.

I think it depends on if it's sativa or indica. I'm just sort of making this up but I see sativas as being mostly from tropical climates and indicas, such as Afghani, Kush, etc, from more northerly climes or mountainous areas. ...then again, MTF is a sativa and became a living legend in Alaska.

Several of my Indicas hermied on me due to temps swaying from 43 @ night to 88 During lights on a few harvests ago. It was depressing. <3

Damn... I stand corrected then. But hermying is a survival trait so in the wild that's a good thing. I started some seedlings early last year and some turned purple; I understand that was from the cold temps.

I am sure it depends on the strain & other enviro factors.. Wind chill & such. Moist dew that turns to frost & such
