ok , so i have 3 sprouts ( week old ) there about 3 - 4 inches tall and i want to put them in seperate pots how can i transplant withought damage / hurting them ?
I'll take it that there is no seperation at all in them, ok i'm no expert but i'll try help. First of all water the soil so that it is moist and very carefully cut around the soil for each little plant as far a gap as you can get very careful not damage the roots. Get the soil ready in the new pots , take the little plants out holding them by the root ball and gently place in new pots, water them again and let them settle into there new pots.
Don't worry. Someone will help you soon... If not. You can always search the site, or google the prob. Try icmag com. That's if you don't find the answer here first.
At least now you'll know. And knowing is half the battle.
I'd say the roots are probably about 4 to 5 inches long, maybe longer. I transplanted one of my guys yesterday and it was about an inch or so tall and it's roots were pretty long. Much longer then expected. So dig deep.
