I like the 12/12 from seed, it keeps the plants managable for an indoor grow. Plus it mimics the actual day/night cycle around the Equatorial region, and I understand the weed there is mighty fine. I'm doing a 12/12 grow right now, pistils at 4 weeks and I see trix on the leaves at 5 weeks.

View attachment 1797193....Is size a concern? if not, do 18/6 until plants are 1/3 to 1/2 as big as you want them. generally speaking, better harvest with only 5 plants. then switch them to 12/12 and look for preflowers in 6 -12 days.

I think it would be amazing fun to grow them out and do some creative LST work. Form the stem into a work of art and then dry it and preserve it after harvest, as a momento of your awesome skills with LST.

i think it really depends on what size light you are using....

If you're only growing 5 seeds presumably that means 2-3 females assuming they aren't feminized. If you use lets say a 600 watt light, then you will be wasting a lot of power if you go 12/12 from seed and have 2 two foot tall plants that each yield less than 2 oz. But if you have like 250 watts or less than going 12/12 from seed wouldn't be a bad idea and would speed your total growing time up by a couple of weeks.

What size light are you working with?
