its almost a month old i have it in 12 12 to find out its sex and its seed starting miracle gro and schultz plant food 10 15 10 and its tap water but i let it sit for a few days before i use it, i read somewhere that its easier on the plant if you let it sit, im still a nood!!
 
the leaf tips are nute burn. It's too young to sex, anyone saying they can tell a sex on a plant not showing any signs is just blowing smoke.
 
give it veg nutes i just got some alaskan fish fertilizer 5-1-1 from lowes for $8,but you dont need to feed it till the cotyledons fall off

But foreallydough......your plant looks good, just a little bit of stretch that looks like it has been resolved. Patience, patience, patience...if she is on a 12/12 schedule and is 4 weeks old it will show its sex soon enough

that looks like the soil is a bit rich for the young plants, they will probably get over it as they grow, dont feed them yest just repot to a bigger container with a better soil if they still have the burnt tip problem

I've never heard of this cotyledon feeding rule before but I guess it could make sense. I always was under the impression that the cotyledons yellow and fall off due to a lack of light from the growing canopy and the fact that they are just tiny, useless, and get barely any light after the first 2 or 3 weeks....but you're theory of the plant basically eating the nutes out of its cotyledons seems like it could be plausible.

Either way I think the key point here is this....if you're in decent soil, there really isn't a need for nutes during the first 2-3 weeks of the plants life, sometimes more....and if you do see signs of underfeeding then start out slowly, using 1/4 strength or less for the first couple of feedings. LESS IS MORE
