I was bad today. I went out to the garden and picked a bunch of green tomatoes. I sliced them up and feasted on their deep fried corpses. They were soooo damn good.
Yeah Tomatoes are my 2nd favorite crop. My 3rd favorite are hot peppers, like jalepenos or halbeneros. This is only my 2nd or 3rd year growing tomatoes but I get better every year. Next year my goal is to prevent cracking.
I put out a better boy, big boy, and a goliath hybrid this year and have had tomoatoes cominig in since June...longer than that, truth be told. Cant wait for next year, I got quite a selection to sow, and I am going with raised beds in my side yard instead of containers next year.
