Is it me or do only a select few only truly understand soil and water pH!!!!

Soil+organics+microbial life = no need to Ph

This is from general hydroponics blog about general organics nutrients and the need to Ph
"When using the GO line, pH adjustment is not necessary in a biologically active soil or soilless medium. When using Coco, it’s not a bad idea to inoculate with our SubCultures M & B to bolster microbial populations. The biological activity which comes from microbial life within the medium, consumes the food provided by the GO line of products. Once the microbial digestion occurs, exudates from the fungi and bacteria are ingested by the plant in the form of food. This is different than feeding with traditional hydroponic nutrients, such as our Flora Series. When gardening with mineral based nutrition, pH is the basis for nutrient uptake. This is because the nutrients are ionically charged, and the proper pH is necessary for root absorption of the food. This is also why nutrient strength monitoring (EC/PPM/TDS) is a good idea when using a mineral based nutrient, whether in soil, soilless, or hydroponics. With your Coco medium, be sure to use the CaMg+. You can safely feed at 2X label recommendations for all products in the GO line, except for the BioWeed and BioBud. They are enhancement products, so be sure to follow label recommendations. Happy Growing! "
Again this bears no relevance to me on this thread, whereas the info is good i feel that your missing the point to the thread, simply wether to pH water and nutess before adding to the soil medium or not and in soil the answer is do it if you want but adequate lime in the soil will do the job just as quick and well for you with less hassle.

Do i need to write it again?

Soil microbial life or the lovely guys down at the microherd do not unfortunatly balance the pH for you. Peace

My tap water is fine, the only PH adjusting I do is when I use nutes, especially Tiger Bloom, that acidifies the water big time. Last year before I got a water PH tester, I used it for a month before the acidity started messing with the plant's health. I started adjusting and it fixed it.

But yeah, if you are growing in good soil to begin with, getting anal about PH is pointless
So if i had your problem in soil id just bump up the percentage of lime in the soil mix although i think roots get stressed by contact of solutions under 5.5 and over 8.5 (Dont quote me on this just the rule of thumb im working with).

And yes this thread dose show that worrying about pH is anal and pointless if you got all the variables right, most seem to wanna make pH anal as you say but this thread hopefully proves that you dont have to or worry too much about pH'ing solutions in soil. Thanks and peace

crazy, If I run anything outside of 6.2 to 7.8 it royally f*#$ up my plants. maybe not just once, but constantly for longer than a few days yes. just my personal experience.
