Chernobyl - 4 month cure

Strain: TGA Chernobyl (Trainwreck x Trinity x Jack the Ripper)

Growth: Super cropped several times and flowered under a 1000 Watt HPS

Nutes: Super Soil with bloom guano top dressing and molasses during flowering.

Yield: Average

Bag Appeal: Visually It just screams high quality to me. Tons of resin and decent sized nugs.

Smell: Strong sweet and sour lime like smell. This is by far the best smelling bud I have ever had the pleasure of smelling!

Taste: very smooth and tasty. This bud is so smooth it's the only type I like to smoke instead of vaporizing occasionally. Perfect joint bud...take a couple unlit pulls on the joint before lighting up..mmmmmm tastes so good.

The High: Instant and pleasant cerebral buzz after about 3/4 of a vapor bag. 5 minutes and the buzz is really kicking in by now. Lots of behind the eyes cerebral goodness with no paranoia that I can sense. I don't feel couch lock at all but I don't feel energetic either. It's definitely a sativa high but not the racy type, I could get up and do something needing energy or just chill. It's been 15 minutes and it's time for another bag! And one more :mrgreen: Okay 3rd bag gone and I'm very high and only feeling a mild amount of body stone. It's perfect daytime bud IMO.

Comments: I think I got lucky and found one of those special phenotypes, because the other phenos were good but this one was way beyond the rest! My second best pheno was definitely leaning to the Trinity with a strong skunk smell along with lime and earthy dankness. Very very stinky shit.

Thanks, I'm going to start doing more of these things since there aren't nearly enough imo. Out of all the TGA Subcool strains I have grown Chernobyl is my favorite and the list so far is: Pandora's Box, Deep Purple, Apollo 13BX, Astro Queen, and of course Chernobyl. Just remember if you plan on growing Chernobyl that she will stretch like crazy.

That's how its properly done people.

just goes to show that PATIENCE is absolute KEY when growing. Not only while the plant is actually growing/flowering.. but also during the dry & curing process as well.

Nicely done my friend.. nicely done.

I bet that smells/tastes GREAT. eh?

I had one that started stinking at 2 weeks from seed, turned out to be a male :( but i used it to pollinate my fruit autoflower and my Vortex. i love the smell of my female, just like you said, Stank and lime.

A Chernobyl x Vortex cross should yield some interesting offspring.

Just to clarify.. the pheno with the skunk stank was a close second place, and I really liked the bud but it wasn't the winner in the end. My keeper(the one in the pics) was lacking a stank and only had the strong lime sour/sweet type smell. But
anyway I'm glad you enjoyed that lime stank dank. I can't imagine anyone growing out a pack and not finding something they liked.
