Light Question Need Help ASAP

so im totally confused when it comes to lights and light fixtures. I have a 150w HPS and i cant find a fixture it can work in. Im on a tight budget and if it means not useing the HPS thats fine but im lost.

What is a good effective light setup i can use for cheap?

im not really sure but, u can put tin foil around ur plant for increased light...

if you have a HPS bulb doesn't it need to go in a medium base mogul socket? AND you need a ballast as well. i don't think you can use HPS/HID bulbs without a ballast. you could just get a bunch of cfl's for pretty cheap.

nevermind i found a great light setup for only 60 ill be posting pictures in my journal so check it out if your curious. Thanks for all the replys tho

the tin foil create a hot spots and can harm your plant as well.it's crab, a newb mistake (i've done it before)
