Ok, so went to see the lovelies today..and my first time seeing them since they got their hps..
Well, good and bad news.
The bad news is that it appears the nitrogen nute burn got WoRsE. Ugh. The pix attached are the raw pix- this is exactly what they looked like when I got there. Well, the flash makes the color off in certain spots, but it's a pretty damn good indicator.. LOL. Anyways.. After the pix I removed all the 50% or more damaged leaves.. I just wanted to have something to compare to the next time I see them- hopefully the nute burn will at least stop progressing.. anyways, I flushed them again, this time with Flora Kleen to make sure there was no toxic salt build up.. I don't want to guess if I flushed it enough. =) LOL.. so.. yea, we'll see what happens with that..
On the up side- the buds has swollen dramatically since getting the hps. Lots of the leaves have also gotten bigger. Manwich, who has been flowering (fully under hps) for almost a week, looked great, a small touch of nute burn, but I think she'll be fine, alot better off then the others.. LOL.. But Manwich is def. loving the new sun.
Ok ok.. pix.. I forgot to bring my magnifying glass- next time I'll be sure to bring it. The buds are a little leafy from the nit. od, but they're ultra sugary none the less.. The aroma as well.. omfg.. soo yummy...
Now.. the first 13 pictures (2 rows and 3 pix) are all of Chloe.. she is just such a weird looking plant, I hadda take a lot.. LOL.. she looks different when she's tied up in the closet.. but wild and free, there's Chloe.
The next 5 pictures are of Loni.. she too.. such a weird plant. LOL. While she isn't as big as the other clones- her buds are bigger than any of the buds on the other plants... she's also the one that has had the worst of the nute burn.. Love her none the less.
The next 4 pictures are of Medusa. She's prolly got the least damage from the nit. od. out of the 3 clones 5 weeks into flowering. Not much to say bout her.. hm.. guess next time I visit I need to spend more time with Medusa..
The last 2 pictures are of Manwich.. she reminds me of her mother.. she's taken to the hps rather well and the buds are starting to form nicely at 6 days flowering... lovely.
Now.. just to say..the shape of the clones look weird but actually works perfect. I'll get pix next time of them all together in the closet- their shapes compliment each other so that the main budded areas of the plants are as close to being directly under the hps as possible. The hps is about 12 inches away from the foliage. The 'horizon line' from the hps is about 3 inches above the plants- I know ideally this line should be level with the plant tops, but im giving room in case they grow taller in my absence.. burning a plant with a cfl fine.. but NOT an hps. LOL..
I think that's all I had to say...
