aeroponics system needed that only uses ez-clone neoprene inserts for medium?

guys im looking for a system similar to this in the link below which is the Pipe Dreams Plant Tier V96

i was actually planning on buying the pipe dreams system for a long time but i just realized that the height of it is insane and doesnt make sense. i also dont like how all the pipes arent an even height. does anyone know a system thats similar to this except every pipe is an even height and alot lower to the ground. just remember that all i want to do is take neoprene inserts out of my ez-clone 120, slip them in the aero system then im done. i dont want to have to take all the clones out of the neoprenes and transplant them into something else. also no hydroton rocks will be in the system. it will just be a king size ez-clone type system. my ideal system would be 80 plants in a 5' x 10' space with 2 1000 watt lights. does anyone know a system like this?

just to add ive never ran aero before and i dont want to build my own system. i know thats what everyone is gonna tell me but id rather spend the money and be done with it

thats a good idea except i dont wanna have to take each clone out of the smaller inserts and put it in a bigger one because its a hastle when dealing with alot of clones. im gonna keep that in mind though thanks. very good price hmmmm

the other thing is how do i know if the inserts will fit in the holes properly because its meant for the pots?

I have a small system like that and it uses net pots. Just put inserts into pots if they are same size. In my aero machine i use just the top ring of the nrt pot and the insert to veg.

Sorry i dont have a solution for that one but i know you can get bigger inserts pretty cheap and swapping them wouldnt be that bad, just get nice and baked and go at it. it wouldnt take too long espically when you get a system down, besides it still beats any other media which would take maybe 2 to 3 times longer to prepare. Your already moving them from your cloner, why not take the extra second to slip on a new insert? just doesnt sound that bad to me. but good luck mr king

your probably right Buddingbishop. im probably blowing that extra time a little out of proportion. i was actually looking at the General Hydroponics AeroFlo 36 Aeroponic System

i didnt really want to have 96 plants in a 4' by 8' space anyway. thats a little over board. if the AeroFlo 36 has 4' x 4' for just the plants that would be perfect. the dimensions are kind of confusing. does anyone know how many feet squared that only the growing area is on the AeroFlo 36? just the white square where the plants sit, nothing else

Looks to be about 4.5 feet give or take a half a foot. Just calculate the dimesions they give you for the 3 in net pots and spacing between them. See if you come up with what i got

Yes im positive you can run the system without hydroton as long as the inserts can hold up your plants. As for those root guards they look the same as an insert except plastic, your guess is right, i also believe those holes would be too small, they also look pricey

the only other thing you could maybe do is find some sort of plastic or plexiglass sheets and first cut a hole for your inserts and then cut a hole just larger than your net pots (around the exsisitng hole so it looks like a donut) and try to slip your inserts into those. But that seems like a big hassle

i dont really care about the hastle if its a one time thing. the way your talkin about are you talking about using the fiberglass instead of the net pots all together? i see where your going with this. if i can only find something to put in the holes instead of the net pots but could also hold 2'' neoprenes in place in the middle of what i put in. hmmm, that would be perfect

i think maybe a bigger net pot cover would do it. maybe a 4.5'' one will hold a 2'' insert. i know one of them does. if there was a way i can maybe cut bigger holes in the system, then slip in the net pot covers without the net pots, and then slip the neoprenes in those. i cant really get a perfect idea until i see the system in person. people on these forums would know better than me

lol yes it would be perfect. i just assumed that if you made your donuts slightly larger than the holes in the aero the weight of plexiglass or fiberglass that would be enough to hold the insert up. I mean if you have half a foot between net pots you can make your donuts a inch wider than holes in the aero and still have tons of room. But im sure you will figure something out

im not real good with carpentry but i think the hardest part is gonna be that whatever type of donut gets put in the holes, its gonna have to stay in place somehow without sliding through. i dont know how im gonna do that
