nice =) im eventually going to exhaust and actively intake three booths on 2 fans one 6 inch 270 cfm for intake and the other will be a 10 inch or 12 inch beast hooked to y pipes on all the booths running HPS that need cool tubes or vented hoods with electronicly activated back draft dampers. I got a nice lil sketch worked out just hopin i speced everything right. Im gettin ready for a big revamp here in a season or two.

How cool does your room stay should be nice a balmy with that cool tube.

Only thing I'm waiting on is the exhaust fan and the 6" ducting. I'm pretty psyched. Auto still hasn't popped the surface yet but I have one bagseed doing really well. The auto hasn't popped yet but I didn't let it crack before I dropped it in the rockwool so it could be another day or so. I still have a 55 day afghani strain worse comes to worse.

hehehe afghani lol should pop that one too haha, i love crackin seeds in rockwool usually always works really quick this time its stressin me out only 1 out of 5 popped.... ug..... its bag seed but ive gotten bombies off of bag seed before.

I haven't installed any of it yet, waiting til I have a lot of work left to do, but the DIY carbon filter is pretty sweet, and I've gotta figure out how to add inches to my cool tubes, I'm thinking levels and levels of duct tape lol. I need half an inch on each side of the glass and 2 inches on one piece of pvc connector.

dryer tubing works as a good short extender if you need something. DIY carbon filters are fun expescially if you know how a muffler for a dirtbike or car works so simple of a principle

I made a smaller tube that slid into a 4 inch tube like this |===== the straight line on the end of it was 4 inches in diameter the = signs were about 2 or 2.5 just wrapped it in a screen after drillin holes in the smaller tube popped it in the 4 incher filled it with carbon put some screen over the end and whammo carbon filter =) made a muffler with muffler packing the same way to muffle fan noise and airflow noise as well worked like a charm only the muffler needs to flow in one end out the other instead of inside the tube and thru the charcoal and out the 4 inch tube so slightly different same principle works like a charm you just cant beat diy.

That's what I used with the carbon filter, dryer ducting, but I used the container (square) that the active carbon came in, cut a decent amout of holes in it, put the carbon in panty hose, cut, tape, put the other leg sock end over the top and taped again. I saw 3 different ways to do it on youtube and went with the lightest and easiest to use with a closet with a shelf. I want the exhaust intake to be above the heating tube so I can get the hottest air in the room filtered and sucked out.

lol I like the building yourself, did you ever see the pics of my germinator? I'm tempted to bring out my whole 2 stack stealth rubbermaid grow deck but I gutted it for parts.

hahaha yea i did lol rofl, i used to run a setup like that but i got rid of it and cannabalized it as well. Just didnt have good results with DWC bubbleponics is where its at if your going hydro. That or fogponics, it kicks aeroponics ass

its some skunk bagseed i had around. ive had these in the comp since the inception buddy. broke ground on the 14th check back in the early pages bro ive been in. i have 1 more a week younger as well. we are gonna kill it
