I was looking at some "LST" videos and was wanting to know if it is a good time for me to start "LST" with my plant?

Ok, what I have done is gave the plant a trim and I hope that I did my LST the right way. Please let me know if I'm on the right track.

You trimmed what promotes the most growth, the big beautiful fan leaves! Sure it will still grow, but you've stunted it majorly...

LST and leave all foliage and I promise you will be happy with the results...

Only a second season grower and making every possible mistake, but a general rule of gardening is to not take more than 1/3 of the foliage off a plant at one time when you're pruning. Perhaps more seasoned growers can refine the percentage for cannabis, but so far more basics have applied in my (limited) experience. Apparently another risk of pruning too much with pot is having the plant hermie.?... Fingers crossed it's only lesson and nothing more!

wow. you took off all the leaves!! why would you do that?? now you have to veg an extra 2-3 weeks to get it back to a decent bud producer. my advice is to not trim any leaf unless it doesn't recieve any light at all. basically stripping it naked acomplishes nothing but stunting growth and minimizing yield.
