Obama Caught Lip-Syncing Speech

Joe Biden, the Vice President, is charging the secret service $13,000 a year rent on the cottage they use on his property to house the protection staff for him. It's a contract that comes to more than $60,000. That's personal income to the Vice President, paid for by the taxpayers. So, you know, the example starts at the top.

At the Reagan Ranch, the Secret Service had horses that were kept with the Reagan horses. Ronald Reagan made sure he got a bill to pay for his horses feed when he could have let the Secret Service pay for it all. And he didn’t charge the Secret Service for their quarters at the ranch.

thing is that there were tenants in that cottage before that paid the same amount.

it would cost the secret service more to search for a house, to move the agents in, and to transport them back and forth from the biden residence... the most cost effective (in terms of time, money, and logistical issues) housing arrangement they found was renting out the biden cottage and paying him rent.

which he has to report as income and will probably have to pay taxes on. ;)

you obviously dont know anything about rental units and tax laws. if biden loses one red cent on that rental unit, he is a blithering idiot that uses a more stupider blithering idiot as an accountant.

dont know where yu got your numbers but it rents for 2200 per month, over double 13k. in that neighborhood, of which i am familiar, you couldnt rent a dog house for 13000 a year.

i receive rent income on my grandparent's old home.

i have to report it to the IRS. when did she die?? there were tenants living in that cottage before the secret service.

The U.S. Secret Service does more than protect Vice President Joseph R. Biden Jr. — the agency also pays him rent.
Since April, Mr. Biden has collected more than $13,000 from the agency charged with protecting him and his family for use of a rental cottage adjacent to the waterfront home he owns in a Wilmington, Del., suburb.
Mr. Biden, listed not as vice president in federal purchasing documents but as a “vendor,” is eligible for up to $66,000 by the time the government contract expires in the fall of 2013, the records show.
Officials say the arrangement came about when a previous tenant moved out of the cottage and the Secret Service moved in.
you have to lie. lol... oh jeff, you really need to take a chill pill... this obama derangement syndrome isn't going to do you any good once he wins the re-election....

According to Mr. Biden’s office, the vice president’s mother lived in the cottage until she died in January 2010. At that time, the Secret Service had been renting properties in the Wilmington area for agents who were providing a protective presence at Mr. Biden’s personal residence

you should learn to read. out of your source.

i did read. lol...

you are the one conjuring up some sort of conspiracy over nothing.

truth is they'd be renting a house somewhere and this cottage is probably the same or less than the costs of renting a huge house somewhere else, and the logistical advantages of having the 'base' be on the same property where the vice president lives far outweigh any 'impropriety' that may be perceived by this arrangement. BTW, the arrangement is perfectly legal and pretty much standard practice, they always rent a house near the property they are protecting....

nothing to see here... WAIT... no.. it MUST be some sort of America-hating, christian destroying conspiracy.... lol

I got those numbers from Dick Morris. 8/2/2011 He is a straight shooter. He used to work for Bill Clinton. The total contract after rent and everything else comes out to $60,000 a year . Here is the video. I have more sources as well. Let me see if I can dig up some #s. I was thinking about starting a new thread on the subject. -------------> http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vcoQdehjLNY

Yes, what a "straight shooter".

While promoting his new book on a radio show hosted by Peter Schiff, Dick Morris stated that the War on Drugs was not being won because "we're not fighting it", and advocated drug testing every high school student in America.

i have nothing to say about the validity of the numbers, but dick morris is a JOKE. his numbers may be correct (i have not looked at them and have zero interest in the debate at hand), but if they are correct, it is by chance.

dick morris is a hack.
