g13/critical mass. what do you all think of this?

I recently just got 4 seeds from a friend who bre these himself. He grows the dankest g13 imaginable! The critical mass on the other hand isn't as great but it yields heavy. So I'm curious how you think it will be?

I'm hoping best of both worlds. G13s dankness and critical masses high yield. Lemme know!

Not to dampen your hopes but...

With only 4 seeds as a sample you probably aren't going gain enough information as to the full range of phenotypes that will come from the cross, in other words, you are looking at "Pot Luck". I really hope you do find something special in the 4 seeds you have, but if you don't, don't despair, you can always start over, there's always another seed.

Thanks for the concern but that's not really what I asked. I am aware of the variety of phenotypes in cannabis strains. I was asking if anyone has see this strain before or is it new to the RIU community. Clearly it is because nobody is responding appropriatly.

So again, if anyone has grown this, seen it or have experience with g13 hybrids please comment. The basic advise that come with growing from seed is unneccasary. Thanks.

Dude you are going to get an F1. That can end up being anything that was in the genes of both plants.... So out of 4 seeds you will most likely end up with 4 completely different strains. And they can end up not even being anything like the mother or father of those seeds. Or you get lucky and find some magnificent new strain to grow and clone, but unstable to breed.

From what I've read the g13 clone is dead. So maybe it's a g13 hybrid crossed with CM? The only g13hybrids I know of are the 88g13/HP, Mr Nice's g13/skunk g13/widow and g13/haze. But maybe the true clone only still lives...

Thats right, I totally forgot that and Mk Ultra.

I just seen this thread is from 2011 haha
Now its from today. Doesn't matter, good info is good info. A lot of people don't realize taking two strains and breeding them, doesn't make them stable. There is a lot of genes in each seed. In order to make a strain stable you have to inbreed the genetics out of the strain and stabilize everything you want into a seed. When you take two strains and just randomly breed them you get an F1. Which means those seeds can end up growing into anything from past genetics. I'll have to check out the MK Ultra thanks man...
