Yeah i still have hopes for the others. I left it under my cool tubes all day and got home to some pretty green cotyledons that are now only stuck together by the tip, i can see through the crack in between. It seems to be making some healthy progress.

thought id show you guys a pic of the little warrior

and thanks i was thinking of doing the same and keep transplanting plants, or at least once before i put them in their final pot.

that one pic of your seedling is doing just fine. I would recommend in the future to plant in smaller pots and transplant periodically. Roots tend to grow outward and move through the space between the soil and the pot, if you start in something like party cups, transplanting to gallon pots, and then 3 gallon pots, you get a solid root ball that will carry you through to harvest. IMO 3 gallons is the largest you'll need with 5-10 gallon pots for mothers if you choose to keep one.

THanks will do next time!!

On another note, I checked the seed in the paper towel and it is BLACK! i think mold or fungus got in there. gonna wait 2 more days and see what happens.

The other 3 seeds in the pots have shown no sprouts either...

grabbed the seed in the towel and it just opened when i grabbed it with by finger tips it. All it had inside was some milky/creamy white substance that smelled bad. guess I rotted it.

1 plant up

1 seed down

3 seeds to go (its been 9 days since theyve been in soil)

none of the other sprouted

is it too early to start on the nutes? can i do 1/4 strength? i read chocolope takes nutes very well.

also, i see on the strain reviews that plant height is shown as "tall". What height are we talking about here? i know theres other factors like how long i veg but in general aht are the heights when breeders use short/medium/tall?

just want to be ready in case i have to train or maybe even super crop. i can work with maybe 4-5 feet from top of soil to tip of plant.

Hey 100degress,

Don't worry about nutes yet. FFoF will easily see your plants through their first three weeks. For my current grow, I'm using FFoF; my six plants got their first round of nutes between days 20 and 25 out of soil.

They'll grow as tall as you want them to. Switch the lights to 12/12 when the plant is 1/3 to 1/2 of the total height you want. As a rough guide, sativas double to triple in height during flowering; indicas double in height. It all depends on how many plants you flower but, with a 400W bulb and four plants, the light won't penetrate much more than 3 feet so you'll probably want to switch to 12/12 when the plant is between 12 and 18 inches.

Looking forward to see how your grow turns out. Good luck :blsmoke:
