As a true Christian Conservative Republican, I like him on about every single issue but I got one big problem with him....He's against the Iraq War ( which usually means that he must hate God ), but lately he's been appealing to true Conservative Republicans like me.

Republican presidential hopeful Ron Paul, whose long-shot campaign has been gaining media attention in recent days, apparently has the support of an unusual constituency -- the white supremacist movement.
Stormfront.org, a white supremacy web site, as well as others, such as http://WhiteWorldNews.com, have actively supported Paul's bid for the presidency, including directing donors to his campaign. Stormfront has also endorsed Paul for president.
"Once in a great while a presidential candidate is presented to us. A candidate who not only speaks to us, but for us...I am supporting Ron Paul in his run for the presidency," the Stormfront endorsement says. The endorsement praises Paul's plans to reduce taxes, close the borders and eliminate trade deals, such as NAFTA.
"Whatever organization you belong to, remember first and foremost that you are a white nationalist," the endorsement continues. "Put your differences with one and other aside and work together. Work together to strive to get someone in the Oval Office who agrees with much of what we want for our future. Look at the man. Look at the issues. Look at our future. Vote for Ron Paul 2008."
The white supremacy movement directs potential donors to the independent ThisNovember5th.com web site, which is a fundraising mechanism for the Paul campaign. The web site netted Paul $4.2 million from some 37,000 people on Nov. 5 -- a record amount raised in a single day through the Internet by any Republican candidate.

would repudiate and reject a $500 donation from white supremacist
Stormfront.org founder Don Black and end the Stormfront website
fundraising for Paul. The Times article lit up the conservative
blogosphere for the next week. Paul supporters packed internet
comment boards alternately denouncing or excusing the charges. Most
politicians are quick to distance themselves from such disreputable
donations when they are discovered. Not Paul.
Daniel Siederaski of the Jewish Telegraph Agency tried to get an
interview with Paul, calling him repeatedly but not receiving any
return calls. Wrote Siederaski November 9: "Ron Paul will take money
from Nazis. But he won’t take telephone calls from Jews." [Update]
Finally on November 13 the Paul campaign responded. In a short
interview JTA quotes Jim Perry, head of Jews for Paul describing his
work on the Paul campaign along side a self-described white
supremacist which Perry says he has reformed.
Racist ties exposed in the Times article go far beyond a single
donation. Just below links to information about the "BOK KKK Ohio
State Meeting", and the "BOK KKK Pennsylvania State Meeting",
Stormfront.org website announced: "Ron Paul for President" and
"Countdown to the 5th of November". The links take readers directly
to a Ron Paul fundraising site from which they can click into the
official Ron Paul 2008 donation page on the official campaign site.
Like many white supremacists, Stormfront has ties to white prison
gangs.
Finally on October 30 Paul's campaign came back with a non-response.
In a phone interview with the Lone Star Times, Ron Paul national
communications director Jesse Benton was non-committal about removing
the donations link from Stormfront.org. After a week of internet
controversy, the best Benton could come up with is:
"We hadn't thought of these options but I'll bring up these ideas with
the campaign director. Blocking the IP address sounds like a simple
and practical step that could be taken. I doubt there is anything we
can do legally. Tracking donations that came from Stormfront's site
sounds more complicated. I'm concerned about setting a precedent for
the campaign having to screen and vet everyone who makes a donation.
It is important to keep in mind is (sic) that we didn't solicit this
support, and we aren't interested in spending al of our time and
resources focused on this issue. We want to focus on Dr. Paul's
positive agenda for freedom."

Just because somebody thinks ron paul would make a better president than obama, does not mean they agree with the views of some no name . None of those newsletters were written by Ron Paul, and he ahs publicly denounced those newsletters. The man has never said a racial or anti-gay slur in his life. other than "queer", but so what. I'd rather he be anti "gay marriage" than support it

I'm saying the very few instances where racially controversial references were made in those newsletters, he was unaware of those rare few occasions. People who he thought were his friends, used his name to try and spread thier own personal agenda

it's kinda funny. when black americans vote en masse for "the black candidate", it's seen as only natural. when the platform of "a white candidate" strikes a chord with, among many others, the members of a white supremacist group, it's seen as a reason to suspect his every move. when that same "black candidate" sits in a pew every sunday and listens to sermons containing anti-american sentiments and racist overtones, excuses are made and he avoids controversy by simply distancing himself from his friend. when any "white candidate" has the audacity to pray or to proclaim his own faith, he is immediately accused of attempting to instate a theocracy and of being in the pocket of the religious right. i really could go on for days in this same vein, but i think you get my point.
