85% humidity during flower

I'm 4 weeks into flower, and my basement got flooded with about an inch of water from hurricane Irene. My humidity jumped from 40% to 85% the past few days. I know that this is extremely high, but I won't be able to get a dehumidifier (sold out everywhere, ordered one online), or have the carpets ripped up in my grow room for about week.

Am I in serious risk for mold or mites?
Is there anything I can do to lower the humidity in the meantime?
Has anyone flowered successfully with such high humidity?

Thanks in advance.

Get a wet/dry shop vac, or rent a carpet cleaner To get as much water out as possible. Not only are you risking your grow with the chances of mold, your risking your health as well. This is how basements and homes end up with black mold (not sure of the exact name of it), can not only make you sick but can kill. Get it as dry as possible and get some air flowing through.

Do that, also hang as many dry towels as you can around your plants, surrounding them in the process. I also heard you can throw some salt in a bowl and have some air goin on it. Basically anything to keep moisture in the air away from your plants.

Thats a bummer man, sorry to hear that. You can buy a Lasco Pivoting floor fan for around $50, they use them to dry floors and walls . I would do anything and everything in my power to get that cleaned up as much as possible, definitely nothing to F around with

Open the windows in the basement and keep constant air moving.. Like Bwpz said, and it really does work, hang dry towels.

Thanks for all the quick replys. I already shop vacced all the water up but my carpet is still pretty wet. Gonna hang some dry towels up when I turn my lights back on. Do you think I'll be ok if I get the humidity under control within a week? It's only been at 85% humidity for 3 days but I'm freaking out.

lol.chill. its not like your plants are sitting in water. i forget how many plants do you have? Because they transpire water into the air and raise Rh also.
I have a CanFan 8" exhaust fan which helps a lot. It's removes about 700cfm. Is there any way you can pull all the air out of that room?

Rent a heater bro, they have industrial sized ones ready for you to rent. Mostly for drying underneath houses and other types of contruction jobs.

I have 7 3 foot northern lights plants. I can only pull air out of the room when I put lights on and the doors are open. An exhaust fan is another good idea I will consider. Especially because my temps have gotten higher with the new dehumidifier.

UPDATE:
Pulled up the carpet, Hung up a few towels in my grow room, and my dehumidifier arrived today. The dehumidifier got my humidity from 85-90% down to 56% currently. I think it's still decreasing too. So it's been 6 days with my humidity ranging from 85-90%s. I really hope it didn't do any damage. I'm gonna check the for bud rot and spider mites extensively later. Thanks for all the suggestions guys.
