i'm polite and have manners.. but i hate the whole "bless you" thing after someone sneezes, so i never do it.

do you think thats rude?

and it's not like i don't say it for religious reasons, i just don't say it becuase it doesn't make sense to me.
its rude.... i mean, not as rude as other things, but its just polite to say bless you

my kids used to think it was okay to fart at the dinner table and laugh. taking their cell phones for a week curbed that shit.
lol a bit extreme... but my stepdad always burps in a hella obnoxious way, and sometimes my sister and i mimic him.... we were at the table after dinner, he was drinking a beer, burped, and my mom started yelling at him... then i took a drink of diet dr pepper, and right at the height of my mom freaking out, I burped just as loud as he did, distracting her... lol everyone couldnt stop laughing except for her... But stuff like that is rare at the table, we have table manners

I just get pissed off when people don't say good morning back to you. If i say good morning, have some common decency, what have i done to cause you to be so rude? Tell you what though, the difference in attitues from moving from the city into the country is incredible, where i live, i won't get a response from someone if i say good morning on the street to a stranger, when i head down to where my parents have a house, if i say good morning there will be 10 minutes of amiable conversation between two strangers before we both go back about our ways. Truly a lovely experience.

I think thats how it should be, I love talking to random people! and most of the time they have something interesting to say.

Lol i ended up shaking hands with and talking to for a few minutes to an older black dude... old people are so damn polite, its hard to be rude back, so I end up being just as polite back

I don't think it was extreme. I warned them and told them it wasn't acceptable. Get up and go in the other room if you need to do that. The next time I took the phone away. hasn't happened since. I call it effective.
