What do modern day servicemen and veterans think of Ron Paul and the government?

What exactly has the Presidnet done TO YOU that has made your life worse?
I don't think he had to do anything other than get elected to make my life worse. I could blame him for doing all the wrong things at the wrong time to bankrupt our nation and drive me and others out of business and out of the country. I could blame him for signing the unPatriot Act continuance. I could blame him for not acting quickly enough on the Gulf oil spill and further hurting the economy by holding up drilling in the Gulf. I could blame him for not ending the Iraq war like he promised. I could blame him for getting us involved in Libya, yet another unconstitutional war. Or the campaign lies of more transparency in government, no more "business as usual" (corruption), change the way things are done in Washington (for the better). Allowed the currency to inflate even more. Or the way he turned his back on mmj supporters.
That's all I can come up with off the top of my head but I'm sure there is more.

So in the event of A nuclear attack or large scale event you would rather have anarchy
What about the Holder Memo in regards to medical marijuana and state laws?

Why is it I can carry firearms in National forests now and I couldnt before he was elected?

Damned if did damned if he didnt in regards to Gulf oil. I think he did a great job and has a 20 billion dollar commitment so far from BP
Last Combat brigades left october of last year in Iraq
Libya? How many US servicemen have lost their lives there? What is the outcome so far? Why do you Love Ghaddafi a man who has killed hundreds of innocent Americans in my lifetime?

How much have we got from BP? You know that well is leaking again, don't you?
So, we have NO troops in Iraq getting killed?
None that we know of but how much was the cost? and for what? to take out the leader of a sovereign nation who was no threat to us. Why then Libya and not Syria, Yemen or Bahrain?
IDK, what IS the outcome so far? Thousands of Libyans dead, that's for sure.
Where did I say that I love Ghaddafi? Resorting to hyperbole again? Trying to reinforce your stand by making me look bad? Weak... Why do you hate America?

I'll repeat what I asked you in the last thread I answered, where is the proof that he has fucked his people over, as for the bombings of Lockerbie etc. well look into that with a more sceptical eye before making any further decisions about the trustworthiness of any government.

I know you are better than this duke...

obama didnt make it so you can carry firearms in national forests, what are any army personnel doing in iraq if they are not in combat, what are national guardsmen doing being deployed overseas. what are we doing interfering with civil wars in foreign countries only when they have something we want, and why are we bombing libya with rockets that cost more than a doctorate degree, why have we had business relations with libya given their anti american history but we hold sanctions on cuba for not allowing american companies to own farmland, how does allowing the government to spy on american citizens protect us from a nuclear attack, which is most likely to occur through an airstrike, and why do we need TSA when they havent stopped a single terrorist, why does the federal government need to interfere with state regulations, and why do you feel the need to take revenge? what is wrong with you that you have to have an eye for an eye, especially when it is our foreign policies that help keep most of africa in the third world, and why do third world countries in africa have less desparity between classes?

Good points Fontaine, i would like to add that it seems likely that in the coming years America via AFRICOM will want to dominate Africa, especially the northern part for mineral wealth, agricultural exploitation through the water retention and distribution projects that have been built thanks to General Electric which will bring oasis (Plural) to North Africa. I have read this somewhere but will have to go back to find it somehow for everyone, it underlines all of what is shaping today in North Africa.

Ron Paul predicted 9/11 ----> check it out

Nice find, like a fortune teller.
Too bad some of the voters follow a party instead of the man. Like rooting for a team that loses over and over and has lost all it's good players and coaching staff and still root for them just because they or their dad had or has a jersey.. We understand that it would be great to pick a party and expect a perfect host or hostess because of the name of it. But that is not the case anymore, the lines are convoluted and you need to vote for the man not the party.
Example Bachmann---Republican party registered... loony bin certifiable. Just because she is on the republican ticket does not mean there is a better Democrat choice for a senator. Ron Paul gets my vote and I am being very pro active in getting him elected.
Do not worry if you are stuck in a party thinking mind all that matters is we get this country back on track even if you got to give credit to a democratic Senate after R.P takes office and gets this pig turned in the right direction. Now go get a RP bumper sticker over at RP daily will ya!

Fair enough then, but why would you vote for Obama regardless of his political siding? Is it because he is black or is it because you think he can take America out of her misery? I'm curious to see what drives a decision like that?

Thought this was funny :

As for this thread, I'm glad the conversation has stayed mostly adult and coherent.

The things I disagree with Obama about/reasons I dislike him?

- Keeping Gitmo open instead of allowing these "terror" suspects due process. (yes I know shameless Repubes wouldn't allow them to be sent here but he still does nothing to make the center comply with the Geneva convention which says something about his character)
- Bailing out all the big banks, auto companies instead of letting the economy crash and restart as it would naturally do.
- Not upholding his promise of a "transparent" executive branch
- Not pulling our troops from Iraq (Yes dukeanthony they are STILL there http://usliberals.about.com/od/homelandsecurit1/a/IraqNumbers.htm) and simply sending the "combat" brigades to Afghanistan
- Signing to continue the patriot act
- Not reacting to the gulf oil spill, not letting other nations assist, waiting 9 days before even making a press announcement, worrying about blame instead of fixing the issue first
- Putting moratoriums on drilling in the gulf
- Trying to enforce his (historical" health care plan which only made everything more expensive for everyone I know.
- Continuing to allow the Federal reserve to inflate currency and deflate the value of the dollar
- Not dealing with the debt ceiling issue ahead of time, not presenting a plan of his own to deal with the national debt
- Passing policies that will put our country into almost $28 trillion in debt in over the next decade or so.

Those are the things of the top of my head

Wrong on a few things
But I am impressed.
I would never call you a racist. You have researched (not well enough) your positions
Wish more people would be like you. Then we could have a conversation
