To top or not?

A grow in a 1.5 x 1.5 foot tent. There's four plants roughly 8 inches tall inside that have not been topped and there's a 150W hps for flowering. Should the plants be topped to get 8 main colas or just harvest the 1 main cola on each plant?

The real question is which would yield more. If it were topped or not? The plants would be lollipoped as well so the plant can put its energy into the canopy.[/LIST]

I would say instead of topping them just use the LST method. so that u wont be losing a main cola to start 2 more, u'll jus be adding 1 or 2 more to the 1 thats already there

top them your yield will be much higher even maybe lightly LST them. but that room is very small post some pics

Bro no reason to top your just gonna get the same amount in weight but more smaller buds try lsting or supercroppin

my first grow started in July 11, i thought about topping but i wanted it fast so i fimmed, and wish i didn't, the place where i cut started to grow again the leaves look crippled now it didn't encourage two other colas to grow, i will try to top next time but it will take longer time to grow again, in my case when i fimmed it stopped the growth for a week

I believe LST'ing them would work well but which way should it be LST'ed? Just LST it enough to make room for more colas to grow?

i did lst, i did 5-7 days for each direction four total, and it made other colas to grow nicely i guess you should experiment too
