Like it or not, person to person transfer are now illegal. So the only ways to be legal are:
1..grow your own meds..no care giver..destroy your overages.
2. appoint a caregiver and get your meds from them.
3.If you are a care giver, supply only your named patients...and only legal amounts.
Wow..they just made it safer to be a dealer, than to try and stay legal. A care giver, growing multiple strains, to help multiple conditions..would have to destroy all overages beyond his 2.5 oz per patient.
Granted, a care giver CAN receive a donation to offset the cost of the grow...so long as he is registered keeps books, AND operates as a small business. And receives those donations only from his named patients...
You try and grow multiple strains, only be able to get a donation for 10 oz per month, (assuming the care giver keeps 2.5 oz for their condition) and try to come close to breaking even.
Now granted..there is a lot of abuse going on..but couldn't they make a ruling that allows even the legal, legit medical users to be safe?
They have essentially said grow your own, have no overages, or there is no way to stay compliant.
All I've got to say for now is...stay small, stay legal...and wait out the storm.
